Excellent meal, reasonable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Several nice rooms. The food was attractively presently and carefully prepared to bring out the last ounce of taste. We had the fixed price meal and were a little overly full by the end of the meal.

Second time here in two years. Both experiences good. It's not earth shattering but you leave feeling sustained and having enjoyed a convivial evening, without breaking the bank. Will we return again. Yes 🤓

We had our first lunch in Normandy at le pommier restaurant. The food was wonderful and the staff professional and accommodating to food allergies. We liked the slower paced European meals. We enjoyed the food and experience so much that we returned for dinner one evening.

We took a large group of our family, including little people who didn't behave beautifully unfortunately, but they put up with it and did their best to ignore it. The food was amazing, the atmosphere very chic.

Service was disorganised. And overly slow. The gaps between courses were too long. And the staff were only moderately very atte tive. The lamb was delicious and very tender and apple pudding in filo pastry was sensational.

The contents of your plate was delicious and sensational, thank you for your sincerity. Sorry that you have felt a lack of Organization for this service during the long weekend of August 15, unfortunately a waitress was sick. More

We were in spectacular Bayeux for a couple of nights. Splendid town. Went to le pommier due to recommendation from our B&B. Must have been friends as we had requested reservations at three other restaurants. Nice restaurant. Lovely outdoor seating and spacious indoor as well. Decent overpriced wine list. Inadequate service, both on number and on abilities; watched a server... More

The food here was very good quality, but you'll need three courses if you're hungry. The maître d' greeted us coldly with no smile and a little look up and down (I think she maybe considered that I hadn't made enough of an effort to look smart for her restaurant). However, she deigned to seat us at a nice table.... More

Long time to get menus and served. Good quality menu. Vegetarian selection a bit limited though. Both of us ended up having fish, which was well cooked and presented.

Very good food, well presented and in portions that lead to empty plates. Service generally very good. House wines were excellent. Overall a lovely meal.

Visited Le Pommier on a Thursday evening in a party of 4 . It's the tourist season so decided to eat early (around opening time). We then fell into the tourist trap. We did not have a reservation. So were led through the restaurant , which already had a few early eaters seated, to a cheap plastic extension at the... More

The owners Isabelle and Thierry Lhuillery are strongly attached to the region, which displays lot's of famous specialities. Their cooking is both original and typical.
The owners know pretty well the local producers, with whom they have been working for many years. When the ingredients are cooked, it is always in the respect of their original flavour, only spices and fresh herbs are added in order to make the best come out of them.
Enjoy eating fresh sea food straight from the coast; try our daily raw marinated fish course, or a slice of duck foie gras flavoured with apple fragrances.
Don't miss our Normandy beef and duck breast, or our delicate fish dressed with a light cream dressing.
Do not also go by, without tasting our local cheeses such as : Camembert, Pont L’Eveque, Livarot or Neufchatel.
And finally to put a pleasant end to this perfect meal try a chaudfroid apple dessert...
It will be our pleasure to help you choosing in our wine and cider list the most appropriate beverage.
