It is not our first visit to Quai 38. As always it was exceptional. The chef knows how to cook Scallops to perfection. The squids were very tender and juicy. The Lobster couscous is wonderful. A thrill for the taste buds! All fresh seafood lovers should give it try.

This will sound an exaggeration , but isn't . The plate of food we had here was the best we had experienced in France for several years. The Turbot was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying root vegetables thoughtfully chosen to compliment and enhance the flavour of the fish. The beurre blanc sauce , which helpfully was in a separate jug,... More

Good pace, friendly atmosphere and nice wines. Make a reservation, because it can get busy. Just a nice place to have a relaxed dinner.

Today we went there for a business lunch. The service was great (french/english speakers); great menu (mainly fish but also good alternatives if people do not like fish). We needed to go for some special wishes - one vegetarian and one customized dish; everything was handled in the best, professional and friendly way. The caffe gourmand was a great finish... More

We visited on a Saturday evening having pre=booked via email. Service was very attentive without being over bearing, The razor clams starter was the star of the evening - really superb!

..followed up with the most amazing service. Food was exquisite. The sesame tuna was divine and definitely save space for the creme brulé. A little bit out of the way but worth finding it.

We visited Lille for one day, taking the train from London. After visiting the birthplace of Charles DeGaule we searched for a lunch spot at around 1 pm. Quai 38 was just a 5 minute walk. This was one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in many years.

Thank Burt K
