It has the most delicious sushi I have ever had. Besides, the service is at top level. The design of the plate, let alone the restaurant itself is like a festival...
it is proper for sushilovers. I loved it...
Went to Izumi for a weekday lunch with a few friends on a cold rainy day. The decor and ambiance is very welcoming with a genuine Japanese feel. The comfy wooden furniture with stylish suhioning and throws are an excellent touch.
Each of us had...a different lunch bento box and it really did deliver. Most of us had visited Japan and are very familiar with the cuisine. After a delightful service by the very welcoming staff we were all content and have agreed to go back again in the very near future.
I have not experienced a more authentic Japanese experience in Lille so far.
Thanks to the Izumi team for a wonderful lunch!More
We ordered two menus and shared to be able to try the different makis and sushi - what a lovely selection - all very unique and displayed beautifully.
It seemed as though we might still need to order more at the end of the meal...but, in fact, we were pleasantly full.
Service was fast, polite and discreet. Good price/quality value.
We will definitely go back!More
Everything was perfect on our visit at the end of August 2017. Delicious food, very courteous service and an incredible value for money! Especially with the value/money
balance this was the best Japanese restaurant we ever visited all over USA/Europe/S. America.
Passed by as it was closed for the afternoon and decided to return for dinner. Read that there have been queues before so luckily we grabbed a table for two prime dinner time as a walk-in.
Cosy and relaxing space. Beautiful, minimalistic interiors and great...service. Quality of the fish was super. Salmon and tuna a highlight. The tuna tartare for sure was a favourite. The set meals looked great (also a vegetarian option), although we opted for a-la-carte to share. Rolls weren't too heavy on the rice and the fish in the rainbow roll was designed beautifully. Great great dinner and desserts looked wonderful too although we were too stuffed to try. Great value for price.
Would highly recommend and definitely go again. Suggest to make a booking ahead for larger groups as tables are limited.More
Lovely Japanese restaurant with quite a lot of variety on the menu.
It was good if you wanted a light meal instead of a heavy one.
All of the staff were very friendly too.
An enjoyable dining experience
