We chose Le Bibent as our splurge while in Toulouse and we were not disappointed. We made a reservation the day before, and despite the fact that it was Saturday night and quite busy we were taken directly to our table. The room is beautifully restored to the Belle Époque period and turns a visit into a special occasion. You... More

The decor is baroque rococco from 1861. The food is classic French, with a twist. Loved the chipirons - small calamari in their ink. The tuna carpaccio with its red pepper salsa was refreshing (although I would have liked it slightly spicy). Desserts are creative while using traditional elements like the apricots tart with hazelnut ice cream. The custard was... More

For such a beautiful genteel restaurant started and owned by a Michelin Stat chef, it was disappointing to find both the food and service average at best. The service was brusque and disinterested, with the waiter placing my husband's food order in front of me and vice versa, he would also slide in the dishes from the edge of the... More

We in a group went to this upscale French restaurant for a dinner. We were seated in a basement area more like a wine cellar. Bit stuffy and hot in basement but amazing French food. Tried Salmon and Tartar. Both were good. Wine suggested were also very good specially the rose wine.

Charming restaurant overlooking the imposing main square in Toulouse . Relaxing and interesting as the colourful life of the City goes by . Caring and attentive staff who were determined that we would enjoy our evening and we did! The Oyster Tartare seasoned with ginger and lemon was divine and our shoulder of lamb perfection!! As for The Choc Tart... More

Went to Bibent with a party of 20 and had dinner in the cellar room. The place is very typical for Toulouse with red brick walls. The food was good and creative and we had the chance to have a dedicated waiter. Nevertheless the overall pace of service was a little bit to slow. Overall a positive experience to taste... More

We were here the twi of us, and had to wait a long time to be served. Apparantly everyone was more budy with the local or french guests than the tourists. Food not bad, but far from outstanding.

The place is extremely beautiful and cozy, but just the service from a few waiters ruined the charming of the place. Specially one who was believing he was on a circus coming to our table and making exhibitions of juggling skills by throwing things on the table or leaving them with a kindless gestures. Right now i can't remember his... More
