Read the reviews on here and they were all correct. They open for dinner from 7.45pm to 10.30pm. We rang as they opened and reserved a table. Thank goodness we did as they turned away at least five couples while we were there. Restaurant is downstairs in a cave like setting. Would be too hot at height of summer I... More

Went here with my bro and the cassoulet is excellent and a great place to taste the Toulouse cuisine. Place is a cave in a lower ground and it has charm, character and a good vibe. When we went it was pretty much full! Other delicacies include canard (duck) in many cuisine varieties and foie gras and pate. Great authentic... More

After a disappointing fine-dining experience st Les jardins de l'opera, this restored our faith in regional cooking. Short, simple menus of mainly foie gras, cassoulet, duck and a few other choices, with decent good-value wines and a selection of authentic puds, all in a cosy basement caveat. Pleasant, appreciative service and a bloke in the kitchen who knows what he's... More

The underground dining room seemed a bit kitschy to start, but it ultimately underscored the experience of being in an ancient city with a unique culture. We tried cassoulet in several places here, all highly rated, and decided this was the ultimate version of that SW French traditional dish. The foie gras first course and extremely well priced (and delicious)... More

We went on Sunday lunchtime & by the time we emerged from the cave were surprised to be greeted by daylight! The food was delicious - starters included duck ham, foie gras and tasty salad. The main event was the cassoulet which was filled with confit du canard (a leg each), a range of sausages, and white beans. It was... More

This restaurant was recommended in our guide book and had good reviews on tripadvisor so we gave it a go and weren't disappointed. It's in an atmospheric setting as you climb down a spiral staircase to the brick vaulted dining room. There was a great variety of a la carte options and set menus which would please most people and... More

Beautiful meal - very tasty foie gras, duck filet and home made desserts! If you get past the entrance which is a little off putting . Great service, nice wine ... Honestly nothing to criticize, only recommend going!

We arrived at 8.30pm on a Friday night to a dead restaurant with only one other table. Disappointingly, only one other table arrived during our visit which made the ambiance fairly dull (and us question why no one was here). We ordered the €22 menu and all up the entrees were good, the cassoulet average and desserts disappointing. Of note,... More

I had the 27 euro menu, including a glass of moelleux to accompany the foie gras mi-cuit. I would say that cassoulet is a must try in southwest but it's not something that everyone would like.

This place did not disappoint us. I love the old architecture of Europe, so from the minute we walked in I was hooked. The restaurant is in the basement and it looks like it is in an old brick tunnel. The decor was very nice. As for the food- very good!! Everything was well prepared. We learned that cassoulet is...
