This restaurant has a good hype for its only entrecôte menu. But its supposed strength turns up to be its weakness. The meat is indeed of average quality, also the wine list is restricted to a single (low quality) choice. You get filled up with all-you-can-eat French fries, unfortunately these are so full of oil that can't even keep their... More

Don't be fooled by the long queue outside the restaurant around 7pm when then open. There is only 1 menu. Walnut salad, Fries (free flow) and Main course (steak) for €19. Wine and desserts are separate menu. Service is prompt and almost curt. Overall it feels like an American dinner style. You can go there if you want some cheap... More

There's only a few things on the menu here and only two ways to cook the steak. The waitress doesn't ask what you want to order, she adks" How to you want your meat, rare or medium rare?" The meat is delicious, especially with the herb and butter sauce!

The steak and fries are excellent. Not fine dining, but good stuff. Love the sauce on the steak. The salad is also good. Recommend the House Bordeaux, it goes with the steak perfectly.

We tried this restaurant after seeing the long lines every time we passed. No menu, just salad to start, steak and fries, and a small list of desserts. We expected more since it is so popular, but we did get a decent meal. Not the best steak in town, but for a chain restaurant, not bad. Service is fast since... More

This is a popular place and was OK for us for a one-time place...the steak was done to our liking but it is basically a nice steak, thinly sliced, with all you can eat fries which was way too much starch for us. However, if you like good frites this is the place for you! We stood in a long... More

We joined the queue in the rain but didn't wait too long to be seated. The service was good, the staff were very friendly and worked like robots! It's a well organised and well run business. Wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'd say it's a bit like a buffet with no choice but served to your table in nice... More

You can't book a table, so get there early and queue just like everyone else. The restaurant is large so covers move quickly and what looks like a large queue soon moves to you being sat at a table - there's no cover if the weather looks foul, so wear waterproofs or take a brolly, or if you're really keen... This place always has a huge queue outside. It has no menu choice. It's steak and chips with their special sauce. Despite the queue you can get seated fairly quickly. However the food doesn't warrant the queue. If you just want a quick simple meal then fine. But for great food there's plenty of other places Toulouse has to offer

Description
The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is composed of a decked slice of sirloin (170 grams) accompanied with french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened in a restaurant in Toulouse in 196,2 Bordeaux in 1966, Nantes in 1980, Montpellier in 1990, and finally Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural decor, a yellow topping and a lemon hostesses with black and yellow apron. The exterior is embellished by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for a best effect !
