We were told to try this place while in Toulouse. We were not disappointed. The food was quick efficient and delicious. A simple walnut salad followed by excellent French fries and perfect steak. Staff were great. Qued up to get in at opening time which suited us well, there was a que for the remainder of the time we were... More

Unfortunate choice of restaurants by my son-in-law. He likes the place so no one else was given a choice. No menu, they only serve one dish. They seat you at a cramped table and after taking your order for drinks they bring you a lettuce and walnut salad dripping with vinegar. They do not ask if you want a salad... More

Book or be prepared to queue! Food good and worth the wait! It's a set menu for the main course with a choice of suites. Chips are plentiful and one can have several servings of these!

Several years ago we went to the branch in Bordeaux and had the most memorable dinner that we had to eat here in Toulouse too. We were not surprised there was a queue by the time we arrived for dinner. It's a large place and this must be their first branch, a little old-fashioned. There is only one dish on... More

A very enjoyable lunch, simple menu menu, steak, chips & salad. Desserts were apparently awesome, watching the pounds me ;) Plentiful, you will need to ask for more chips, don't assume they will just turn up ! Cooler to eat downstairs on a hot day, aircon was struggling upstairs

We had tried the branch in Bordeaux two years ago and loved it. It was one of the most memorable meals. The restaurant only has one dish on offer and why not? If you do one thing well, that's your unique selling proposition. The restaurant has 5 branches in France and the French being fussy with their food, the testament... More

Great meat restaurant with a simple formula, only salad and entrecote. Their sauce is the real secret, and nobody there will tell you the contents. Good place to go with frinds and family, but be prepare to wait for a table outside especially on weekends. Not indicated for business meals.

Amazing meat. Only one dish on the menu but simply melt in the mouth perfectly cooked steak. And a very nice sauce to match. Often see mid evening queues to get in. And whilst presentation etc is average, here it is all about the meat. Recommended if you want to taste top quality meat.

Very basic formula taken to something close to perfection. If you are happy with good quality meat, fries and a very good sauce, then this is the place to go.

The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is composed of a decked slice of sirloin (170 grams) accompanied with french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened in a restaurant in Toulouse in 196,2 Bordeaux in 1966, Nantes in 1980, Montpellier in 1990, and finally Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural decor, a yellow topping and a lemon hostesses with black and yellow apron. The exterior is embellished by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for a best effect !
