Incredible place, great ambiance, delicious fresh seafood. All prepared perfectly. If you're craving seafood in Toulouse, this is the best option. It always crowded because it great.

Very atmospheric restaurant with waiters in traditional gear calling out. Tables small and close together. Most customers locals. Headline is oysters, but I was on my own. Salad with lardons (lots of them), and prawns roasted with Pastis; all good and very substantial. Waiter spoke English well and was helpful: the wine I wanted was not available, but he recommended... Got in for lunch (unbooked) early. Just as well. The place filled up quickly and completely. Cordial, unfussy reception. Tables a little close-packed, but no really an issue. Service prompt and attentive. Food very good indeed. My wife had the marinated salmon with ginger as a starter and the swordfish after. Both pronounced excellent. I had a salade de lardons... More

Small restaurant French Brasserie style. Great decor but limited seats. However, the dishes are authentic and the oysters...well, the freshest Girraldeaus I ever had. The rest of the menu is limited but of great quality.... The "locals" go there, and speaking French is a must. But truly recommendable!

Spending a long weekend in toulouse we wanted to try various restaurants to taste local food. Unfortunately this restaurant was the biggest disappointment of all of them. Service was good but that's it. Seafood wasn't good. Meat was horrible.

This place has been around for over 30 years (at least). It hasn't changed and it is a good thing! Excellent selection "a la carte" with delicious seafood (oyster) in season. Tables are very close to one another in the tiny restaurant that always feels full and busy. Typical brasserie type dishes prepared with attention. A must visit while in... More

We visited the Le Pyreneen with friends who were over for New Year and who love seafood. We had eaten there before and we were so impressed again. The restaurant is buzzy. friendly and reminds us of a Paris bistro. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we had nothing but first class service and attention. The seafood... More
