In a city like Toulouse during Euro football championship they said at 13h56 no availability the kitchen is closed !!! Shame, I was a good client I'll never go again.

Got in for lunch (unbooked) early. Just as well. The place filled up quickly and completely. Cordial, unfussy reception. Tables a little close-packed, but no really an issue. Service prompt and attentive. Food very good indeed. My wife had the marinated salmon with ginger as a starter and the swordfish after. Both pronounced excellent. I had a salade de lardons... More

Small restaurant French Brasserie style. Great decor but limited seats. However, the dishes are authentic and the oysters...well, the freshest Girraldeaus I ever had. The rest of the menu is limited but of great quality.... The "locals" go there, and speaking French is a must. But truly recommendable!

Spending a long weekend in toulouse we wanted to try various restaurants to taste local food. Unfortunately this restaurant was the biggest disappointment of all of them. Service was good but that's it. Seafood wasn't good. Meat was horrible.

This place has been around for over 30 years (at least). It hasn't changed and it is a good thing! Excellent selection "a la carte" with delicious seafood (oyster) in season. Tables are very close to one another in the tiny restaurant that always feels full and busy. Typical brasserie type dishes prepared with attention. A must visit while in... More

We visited the Le Pyreneen with friends who were over for New Year and who love seafood. We had eaten there before and we were so impressed again. The restaurant is buzzy. friendly and reminds us of a Paris bistro. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we had nothing but first class service and attention. The seafood... More

6 of us dined here in late September, 2015. We agreed that we had just about the best fish we've ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere and the waiters were terrific, but the food was tremendous. I had bream, a new fish to me, and could not have been more happy. The oysters on the European side are not... More

This tiny restaurant offers the best from south French cuisine. Besides the strong permanent menu, there are several daily offers. So you can try not only fresh sea foods but also poultry, beef or horse steaks. Additionally, excellent choice of wines should not dissapoint anybody.

Our first night in Toulouse, just a stroll from our hotel we found Le Pyreneen. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Believe me it only got better, each course was a delight and generously portioned. Our waiter (who welcomed us on arrival) was attentive and informative throughout the evening. A very pleasant evening and a promising start to our... More
