Awesome food in Toulouse

I came here with my family (3 kids) and had one of the BEST dining experiences ever. Kids menue (€9.50) was excellent quality and delicious .... I would have happily eaten it. The carafe of red wine was mettre than most bottles twice the price other restaurants. My husband had the cassoulet and I had the duck. Also fabulous and a bit different. Swift and friendly service. More expensive than pizza... WELL WORTH IT. Deco weird. Who cares. Highly recommend.

Wonderful dinner experience and absolutely amazing value for money! Delicious fresh and mostly local products cooked with perfection are served in generous proportions in an elegant and kind of minimalistic manner ! The atmosphere is really friendly while the service is impeccable. My friends ordered the foie-gras cooked with spices and served with grilled fruit loaf. They loved it! The delicate balance of textures, temperature and savours was really really good. As for main plates, we had cassoulet, medaillon de poulet and I had the tuna. Absolutely gorgeous, cooked perfectly! Try it as soon as you can!

We arrived very early and were able to choose a well-located table. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, the rose that was served immediately was delicious and perfectly chilled. We ordered the complete menu and chose the very tasty ravioli in broth and the poached egg on sauerkraut and bacon, very interesting and a completely new taste situation on our tongues. The stuffed chicken with mushroom sauce, foie gras and potato gratin was wonderfully tender and wonderfully seasoned. The beef tartare had very small fibrous traces, the accompanying potato slices and the salad were tip-top. A very nice cheese platter and a fantastic flambéed tarte tatin rounded off our evening. We can also recommend the restaurant because of the very good price-performance ratio.

We came across Dahu by accident. It is a small crowded neighbourhood joint with many locals. It took a time to order but when the foie gras came and the mains they were delicious. We had cassoulet and lamb. Both well flavoured and the cassoulet creamy and topped with crispy duck legs. Carafe of red also v good. Reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.

Gorgeous traditional Touselain food

Were told by our fr family we would eat well in Toulouse and this restaurant didn t disappoint. Brilliant value too €22 for 2 courses, €26 for 3. Some supplements for more expensive items which we thought was fair. Gazpacho gorgeous, light and resfreshing in heat of 33 degrees, foie gras was v nice too. Menu d enfant 10e and was one of courses from adult menu which is great as our kids so tired of only being offered burgers/fish and chips. In end boys ate adult menu as dying to try cassoulet and what a cassoulet...perfect blend of duck falling off bone, Toulouse sausage and beans absorbing all the flavours. Unami! A 10/10 from both! My wife had duck breast w caramelized fig and orange which was delicious but she was fascinated by the flavours in the perfectly cooked slices of polenta she got with it. I tasted it too and v nice. Fenguek maybe ? I had a perfectly cooked entrecote but wished I had ordered something more Touselain like the others. Too full for dessert but boys had a creme brulee btw them and gave it big thumbs up. Seems to be served cold in the South which is unusual for us but still yummy! Staff lovely too. After v disappointing meal the previous night so delighted to eat in this wonderful restaurant. Merci!

We waited almost 1h30 before ordering, then another 1h before being served. The dishes arrived in a staggered way, I had asked that my dish arrive at the same time as the starter of my friends but this was not the case, it even arrived last, that is 2h30 after arriving at the restaurant. No explanation given for the delay. Many dishes on the menu were no longer available. Awards on the site are not those applied by the restaurant. 24€ the dish alone, 27€ if starter + dish, seek consistency... The vegan plate was good.

Delicious set menu

Delicious three-course meal. Wonderfully home-cooked food, friendly service and decent portions. Very accommodating to a solo guest which is always nice. Onion soup, cassoulet and creme brulee all absolutely delicious, the best I have had.

Fantastic place for regional cuisine

Fantastic dinner spot for regional cuisine. Cassoulet was the best I have had. Prices were very reasonable, only €29 for full course menu. The restaurant was busy but the servers were still very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Searched long & hard before booking a table here. Only evening service! Restaurant very quiet when we arrived, but steady flow on street seating & good service. Got the classics, French Onion Soup, Cassoulet & a very drinkable Syrah red wine! All good here 👍

We went to dinner, driven by the good reviews. Very nice place, the girl who serves, by the way alone and does everything, is very good! Really compliments. Very nice, very kind. To finish the food... very very good and generous portions. If you are in Toulouse you must go.

Very noisy restaurant.. our table was located very close to the toilets with frequent traffic and customers who do not know how to close the door.. in short, you will have understood, we had a rather disappointing evening.. Otherwise, the dishes are relatively good but the prices a little high. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Oh yeah! what a succulent dinner experience! We had dinner on the streetwalk at sundown in a quiet street enjoying the warmth of an Indian summer! Promptly and kindly waited, we enjoyed succulent 1st dishes. I had the tuna steak which was perfectly cooked, tender and generous accompanied with a creamy sauce yet the delight came from the side dishes veggies perfectly cooked and seasoned, the sweet polenta, the creamy potato gratin and last but not least the slice of apple tatin pie 🥧 !! Yummyyyy !!
