So thrilled that we found this place during a day trip to Toulouse. We are gonna come back to Toulouse soon just to eat here again. Starter of anchovie tart with crispy filo & sweet peppers and the main course was beef, slow cooked for several hours. This beef is worth travelling for; so tasty, so tender, I didnt need... More

I have eaten here twice now, on both occasions having been shopping at the Victor Hugo food market which is opposite the restaurant. Beautifully cooked French food for 20 odd euros for the set lunch menu. For this you get a choice of five starters and two main courses. We had smoked herring and potato salad starters, for main course... More

The set meal is remarkable for only 22€ - lots of choice, substantial portions and very well cooked and presented. Wine at reasonable prices.

Charming, small restaurant where the kitchen knows what they are about. Had a crab soup that was rich, buttery and altogether delicious. Main was a roasted fish plat with roasted asparagus alongside. Perfectly cooked. Others at the table had a lovely risotto with lobster, roasted veal (a sort of a stewpot thing). Leave room for the millefeuille. Old school wonderfulness.... More

We visited this restaurant with friends. We tried to go here in the past, but it was full every time. But this time we made reservations on time so we had a table outside (recommended if weather permits) They have a very nice menu that seems to change frequently. The starter was marinated salmon, which was ok. However the main... More

Excellent location, near Toulouse food market (place Victor Hugo)! Very good service. Had the herring salad ( with warm potatoes...) great. The salmon salad was also superb. Then veal excellent, Cabillaud fish also great. panacota desert concluded a great meal very nicely. Wine was cotes de Malepere, great value semi-local choice (fronton being closer). Highly recommended

We were recommended this restaurant by the lady on the desk at the Pullman. it is down a street at the back of the Entrecote. We arrived late for a Saturday luncheon and found the only table left in the basement. We both had the entree and plat du jour. The meat dish was very tasty being a mixture of... More

Experienced dinner here recently...reservations essential as the restaurant became quite busy post 8 p.m. Service was attentive and welcoming...menu offerings were varied to suit most tastes and the wine we sampled was respectable and fairly priced....no formule at evening, and plats range from 20 euro plus....comfortable setting and clearly popular with local diners....recommend
