There is a saying in life that you can't choose your family. Well, if I could choose my family, it would include Alexis and his sister, the owners of Le Bistrot. I dined alone at Le Bistrot on Friday night, a little uneasy as I...More

Not a lot of choices on the menu, but the risotto St Jacques and tarte tatin I had were superb. The service was very friendly

Super duper recommended. To start, I had the grilled Camembert. It was simple, but gooily awesome. For my main, I had a lamb chop with mashed potatos. The lamb was very nice, but the true highlight was the mashed potatoes. They were the best I've...More

If you are lucky enough to book a table then you are in for a treat. We went along early (at 6.30pm) and managed to secure the last table for the evening. Evening service starts at 7.30pm and I think if you haven't booked you...More

A great little place run by a small but very friendly staff. The food was excellent and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice, well-cooked dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is an atypical review, because we didn't actually eat here. We were walking in the area and decided at the last minute to try to get a table for two on a Wednesday night, our last night in town. When approaching the still-closed exterior,...More

This restaurant is a Toulouse treasure. If offers a small but varied delightful menu of choices. While the steak frites appeared popular we ordered the squid, the amazingly fresh foie gras and the scallop salad with prosciutto which was terrific. The wine was well chosen.
