What a find . Such a good food . We had menu midi and it’s over the top. Huge quantities and reasonably priced . Located near the canal

French style all around, they help with suggestions and look for the mínimum detail. Fantastic! Have to visit and taste how nice and warm are french people 👍👍👍
We were delighted to find this traditional French bistro near the canal de Brienne and 20 minute walk from the Capitol. The food was delicious - we opted for the set menu. The lamb chops were superb. The wine menu was substantial with many vintage...wines at a remarkable price. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of locals. We returned from the Pyrenees a week later - they kindly accommodated us despite a mix-up with the reservation time - and fed us prior to the opera even when they were not officially open for business. Highly recommended.More
Great restaurant with traditional French food. Relatively cheap and served (seemingly, an exception these days) by friendly, smiling waiters that do their job wonderfully
Amazing steak and amazing atmosphere ! Go here for dinner. Don’t book a hotel near here though as the location is slightly out of the centre but it’s perfect for the restaurant !
Ate here whilst working in Toulouse recently. I had not booked but fortunately they were able to accommodate me, unlike others who turned up after me, so I would suggest booking. This is a typically good neighbourhood French restaurant, frequented by more locals than visitors....Good food, good wine, good service and a good atmosphere, what's not to like?More
If you go to Toulouse, you must visit this if you like meet. Typical french restaurant with perfect pieces of meat. Pata negra as starter and a cote de boeuf with a local glas of red wine as main plate and I guarantee you will...have a nice evening. Reservation necessary to get a table. In the summer you can sit outsideMore
This restaurant serves regional food, witch means the very traditional Southwest French cuisine. The food is very good, but they didn't cassoulet that night.
Just down the road from our hotel (they booked us in and I think we were lucky),it opens at 8pm and was already filling up , I think they did the hotel a favour getting us in. The service was swift and efficient. The p,ace...was packed. We chose fillet with a vernalise sauce and entrecôte with Roquefort, both were excellent , it didn’t look much but with pummels fritters a great dinner.we had a nice Bordeaux and cheese to follow.all in all for 70€ not to bad , simp,e but tasty.More
I visited this restaurant during my buisness trip in the city. The restaurant was full of poeple, it was good sign. They offer a lot o find of stakes, meats, good nice and deserts. I recommand this restaurant.
Busy popular restaurant for the meat lovers and amateurs of offals. Young and good service through the evening, with a smile! The Spanish ham (pata negra) was great, the beef pavé a bit tough and disappointing. Decent selection of wines, mainly dominated by South west...regional reds. A nice experience.More
The restaurant is on one of Garonne's canals, has tables outside , so from May to end of September is an ideal place to eat outside. It was recommended to us by more than one local as the Steak Tartare of Toulouse. V good service...too.More
Been there for times already, differently like the food and staff. If u like meat u have to go there.
Found this place while wandering about. I've wandered the streets of Toulouse before and this is the best place I have found so far. Good honest country food and good honest country prices, and great service as well. it off the beaten track, but well...worth a special stroll. It was full on a miserable wet Thursday evening, which I take to be a good sign.More
Waitresses were too slow and the food was not fresh, most probably overheated. For the price I expected not to have a frozen plate, most likely made several days before.
