This fabulous restaurant is beside the river Lot. It has outdoor and inside seating. The service is extremely good. You must try the foie gras. It is served with a warm roll and some sort of fruit jam/chutney. I have never had anything so delicious. We also had the duck served with asparagus which was equally delicious.

Located beside the river, behind the cathedral, not particularly easy to find but worth the effort. Food is imaginative with good service. It's the sort of place you'll say 'let's go to the Cuisine cote Sud' when you fancy a special lunch.

This small restaurant is always the place we eat when in Cahors. Delicious food served by friendly people. Highly recommended.

Lovely location on a terrace overlooking the Lot river. Sufficient if not extensive choice of local dishes that were very tasty and well presented. The service was relaxed and friendly. Good choice of reasonably priced wine. All in all excellent value for money.

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday with a Friend. Wasn't our first choice as many places closed we had little choice. Starter -quiche was good. Salad was tired, many leaves passed their sell by date. Main course- veal ok. Beef tasteless. Accompaniments (chips and veg.) terrible, over cooked and cold. Without doubt worst meal we had since arriving in France... More

We have been faithful customers of Côté Sud in the medieval town of Cahors for many years. Our favourite restaurant in the Quercy Sud. The menu is simple and of high quality, inventive dishes without the pretence of the high priests of gastronomy, and a simple but enticing wine list. The service is attentive and friendly. Consistently good! Nice terrace... More

A very pleasant restaurant to enjoy lunch. Seating inside and out, in a pleasant location near the river and not far from the cathedral and town square. Plenty of choice, friendly service and very normal pricing.

As a family we've been visiting Cahors on market day during the summer months for about 25 years, and we only discovered this fantastic place this August. What a lovely place with truly delicious food. The decor inside is simple and unassuming, with outdoor seating available under a shadey awning. The food is really exceptional: two of our party ordered... More

Three years ago I wrote a review saying that the Cuisine Cote Sud is the only restaurant where we go in Cahors. The same still holds true (except for a few occasions when the restaurant has been closed). One of the wonderful aspects about this restaurant is the menu changes every day, and despite all the times we have been... More

There is no ambiance to speak of inside the restaurant, which is sort of like a cafeteria, or the outside terrace, which is pleasant enough but fronts a busy thoroughfare. However, the food was surprisingly delicious! We stopped for lunch with friends and sampled salmon tartar served with triangles of a waffle), duck breast with potato galette and vegetable side,...
