This restaurant was recommended to us by the Tourist Office. It proved to be a reliable recommendation with a good selection of salads. Excellent service and pleasant terrace in a quiet corner of the city.

La Baladin is a delightful restaurant close to the cathedral in Cahors. As creperies go, this is certainly one of the best, offering a good selection of both savoury and sweet. You have the option of dining inside or outside and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The best crepes we have eaten in some time!

Reserve ahead on market day for a table in the sun or in the cozy inside. The crepe Indian is delightful but there are many choices both sweet and savory. I recommend a pichet of cidre.

I had lunch there with a couple of friends. They have a special lunch offer which is a good bargain. The service is nice and the food is good, but not top. The place shows a bit its old time charm but could do better decoration wise.

Lunched here while visiting old Cahors, a must if you are in this part of the world, and found pleasant host, simple and straightforward menu that is perceptively constructed to provide something for every taste. I thoroughly enjoyed the starter of Cassoulette de moules that was flavoursome and generously served with croutons. Confit de canard main was sumptuous if a... More

I was really in the mood for crepes, so I was so happy to find this gem in Cahors. There were 3 other tables inside, but ambiance was nice and the waiter was super friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered a half litre of house rosé (4,50€). Then I ordered the crêpe de la semaine (which was a galette bretonne... More

So good we had crepes for main and dessert. Central location, attentive staff, good value lunch. 3 courses for euro16.50. Highly recommended.

When arriving we were delighted to be seated as a party of six and thought we'd need to wait as the cafe was busy. Sadly, once initial drinks had been ordered things started to head downhill. Drinks were very slow to arrive, there weren't enough glasses for wine, water and other soft drinks on the table. Cutlery arrived shortly after... More

When we needed a break for lunch during our tour of the medieval area of Cahors in September 2010, we stumbled upon a very good creperie restaurant, Le Baladin (57 Rue Clement Marot) on one of the narrow, cobble-stoned streets. The weather was perfect (mid-70’s, sunny) so we ate outside. We both had crepes (my husband had a fish crepe... More
