Two friends and I opted for this restaurant because of the good reviews and vegetarian/vegan-friendly options. However, the less-than-courteous waitress spoilt our evening from the start: we asked for vegetarian/vegan options and she told us we could have asked on the phone... Clearly irritated. We'd decided to go there specifically because they can accommodate for us (as specified in their... More

We went to Le Papillon because we had read the other Trip Adviser reviews and they were not wrong! Friendly chef in his own bijou restaurant. The menu du midi changes daily and offered 3 fantastic choices for starter, main course and dessert. Food looked great, tasted delicious, I can particularly recommend the confit de joue de porc if you... More

We (five people) had a very pleasant brunch there. The salads are excellent: a combination of fresh ingredients, excellent seasoning and nice sausages or various meats. The person who served us was also the one who made the meals so she knew perfectly well how the each "plat" was made, what she could add or leave out. The service was... More

The food was EXCELLENT and the service was absolutely WONDERFUL. We are a Spanish/British family with only two people who understood and spoke a bit of French- they made every effort for us to understand the menu. Extremely kind, understanding and accommodating service. The main dishes and deserts will not disappoint. Traditional, home cooking with the best service. Delightful dishes... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat and as we were looking at the menu, the proprietor came and explained the "set" menu. As it seemed just what we fancied at the time we sat down there & then. it was a truly delicious meal.

This restaurant is in a narrow street, not far from the main square. It has a slightly strange feel to it as it is a bit like being welcomed into someone's front room. I think we were lucky to get a table as it was very busy for a Monday lunchtime. We opted for the 3 course set menu which... More

Simple, homey, delicious food. Great service. Vegetarian pre-fixe was fantastic. Overall, very well-priced and comfortable. We enjoyed the straightforward food. A wonderful stop in Albi!

This food has what I think would be traditional French cuisine. I had a set menu with goat cheese salad, confirm de duck and a pear for dessert. The whole package was very good.
