Always very good food and warm service. The owner always greets the customersbwhen they come and leave. The restaurant serves traditional French dishes.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for lunch. We both chose the daily menu which started with an excellent goat cheese and honey bric. Unfortunately, the menu went downhill from there. The main course was gigot which normally is hard to go wrong with, but the meat was tough and not very tasteful. The dessert, a belle helene mousse sounded divine,... More

We had lunch here recently, just about getting in before the magic 2pm bell when the kitchen shuts! Great ambiance and atmosphere; we were made very welcome by the maître d'. He was very patient as we worked through the menu and sat down beside my daughter as she pondered the choices. Food was excellent as well as the house... More

Good traditional, French food served with a smile. Not pretending to be anything it isn't, this place serves good consistent food. The kitchen is pretty all round, and the staff is friendly. Prices are fair and good quality for money which is hard to find in this part of Metz.

Had a delightful meal last night. Staff remarkably pleasant; owner greets you personally. My wife had a fillet of beef that was the best in this month in France. Prices are reasonable as is the wine list.

Fantastic food at a reasonable price. A warm welcome and friendly greeting from the owner/manager. The steak is highly recommended!

We were only in Metz for one night and wandered around to find somewhere to have dinner. We picked this restaurant as it was busy and the menu was reasonable and offered French cuisine. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman who I am presuming was the owner and a true Maître D' which I haven't seen in a long... More

My partner took me here as a welcome home meal after I'd spent two weeks away, and it was nice to return to authentic French cooking. We had the 24 euros menu - he chose the rouget and I took the salad for starters; both were not bad but nothing to shout about. However, the main course was outstanding -... More

This was our main choice during our short stay in Metz. The owner greeted us all with a handshake and I felt very well taken care of. The specials were written on a mirrored wall and some were ordered by our group. They were quite good. It was classic French fare, meaning Americans may not recognize or find certain items... More
