I can not fault the place, it just does not blow off my socks, wait staff average, and cool. nice setting, decor, no towels in ladies room.....
It is what you'd expect on a beautiful but touristic place like this. The food is often prepared in advance and not as tasty as you'd get in a place that's not so big. Fries were soft and lukewarm. There's far better.
Great location. Friendly waitress. Average food. Nice tagliata, but the Dorade was very mediocre. There are much better restaurants in Nancy.
We spent the day in Nancy. We were very pleased with the mini tourism train, which we boarded in Stanislaus Square. This is truly one of the most beautiful places and cities on earth. After touring the old city, we returned to Stanislaus Square and...the Brasserie Jean Lamour, a restaurant operating since 1897. I chose one of the daily specials which was a grilled Pollack on a bed of black noodles. Laura had the Quiche Lorraine And we shared a plate of three cheeses. She had two glasses of wine from Alsace. I had a nice amber beer from the Nancy area. The meals were good and the service even better. Best of all was the cheese plate. I strongly Recommend this restaurant.More
The dishes are prepared with care and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service provided by her reception and treatment is very wonderful and she works with high professionalism. Thank you, Mrs.Morgane
Thieves, 13,00 for a croque monsieur on the terrace. Other than that not a terrible experience, but I will never go back.
Emplacement au top avec des prix très corrects. Andouillette, quiche Lorraine ou tartare excellents. Service très agréable. Café gourmand très gourmand 😉 Excellent restaurant to go to with your family. Service is great. It's located right on Stanislas Square, a wonderful place in Nancy. Food...is very good.More
A lovely dining room and cafe - the perfect place for a petite dejuneur accompanied by a glass of bubbly. Our waitress was obviously very new as plates put down were immediately removed again (by a waiter) and the coffee and juice added. Then she...had to be asked for some of the other missing bits like butter on one plate and jam on the other. A little training by management beforehand could have made her first few days much more pleasant. Still a wonderful place to relax over breakfast.More
Stopped in for a petit déjeuner on a lovely sunny Sep morning. Delightful spot, Stanislas Square is stunning! Had a traditional French breakfast. Fairly straight forward but all was good - coffee, orange juice, croissant, baguette with bread & jam. Hit the nail on the...head for us.More
Visited in August and asked if they could deal with a special diet - having spoken to three people and waited for almost half hour, whilst they appeared to carry on regardless, we chose to leave. There are better options in Place Stanislas!
I would recommend this place for a cafe, dessert or a drink. The food wasn’t bad, but is a bit overpriced for the quality you get. I had beef tartare, which was so so. Wine however was great, good service and desserts too.
Very friendly and helpful staff - excellent service. We had drinks only last night for the Son et Lumiere show which was excellent. Go and enjoy
We arrived in Nancy around 3pm and were desperate to find something open but we were lucky! The Brasserie is open the whole day, is situated in the heart of Nancy on Stanislas square and is an excellent point to view the famous light show...on the square. The waiter spoke English and gave us an English menu which was a plus. We were in a group of four. My mother had a fish soup with king scallops which was excellent. The rest of us did not have starters. The main course was very good as well, the deserts very tasty! They also served very nice Leffe rouge beer which Ifell in Love with. The service was good and efficient, we will definitely come back when in Nancy.More
Well presented French restaurant (but not so busy) It's located right on the square near tourist center area in Nancy. Nice interior. Pets allowed. The waiter was friendly & helpful. The service was quite slow, the hot chocolate was OK +with lot of outdoor seats.
