This restaurant has a Portuguese connection. We took the menu midi which cost €16 each and is good value for money! We both had the same. The first course was mussels - good tasty and fresh. The second was duck parmentier which is a sort of French version of a shepherd's pie. Delicious and homely!! We drank a bottle of... More

Enjoyed the tapas planchettes and had big bowl of mussels on the side. All the dishes were tasty and there was plenty for three of us. Cost very reasonable- would eat here again. Got quite busy, even on a Monday night.

A wonderful locals lunch time spot in the centre of Perpignan. Divine oysters, beautiful mussels and the host was welcoming, genuine and attentive.

This small restaurant is located just off the main street in Perpignan. In addition to the entrees they serve an assortment of tapas.

A rare night away from the kids whilst on holiday. The food was nice and reasonably priced. The wine was ok. The service was also good. The best thing about this restaurant is the location. Very close to the Castillet in the centre of my favourite French city.

We opted for a tapas mixed plate which was average. It had a couple of Portuguese traditional chicken and fish patties which were nice. The place lacked atmosphere as well and probably would be very noisy if it was full due to poor acoustics.

... and given Perpignan has it's fair share of good restaurants that will give you a clue. Portuguese cooking, plenty of tapas dishes, plenty of cod and seafood. I was struck in particular by the way the ingredients were left to speak for themselves - the razor clams and the baby squid tasted of seasoned razor clams and baby squid.... More

We were keen to have some Catalan food when in Perpignan, and this served up a great plate of warm tapas for €18 a head. The place had a great atmosphere and the friendly owner even threw in a free bottle of wine.

We decide to find a restaurant on our first night and settle on O Canto D’Amalia. We have a table on the street terrace and it is a lovely balmy evening. The restaurant is Portugese but has some fish specials on as well. Both of us choose the whole Dover sole and select a local rose wine with the very... More
