We last visited this restaurant a couple of years ago -it was excellent then.... and still is. Our 9 course tasting menu on 1st July consisted of 4 fish courses (marinated prawn, langoustine, sea cod and pollock), one meat (Auvergne beef), chesse and 3 delicious puddings. All cooked to perfection by Garry, with Ariane provided her usual detailed explanations of... More

We were so pleasantly surprise by the quality of the food at Garriane. Each course was uniquely crafted - like a work of art. And it wasn't just how amazing the food looked - the different tastes were superb. A great experience in fine dining. One of the best meals we have ever had!!

We were here last Saturday the 7th. No menu - you eat what is put in front of you - 9-courses that Gary and Arianna source locally and that change only once a month (I think.) It's been a long time since we've spent THREE hours at a restaurant. We thought it was an experience comparable to the finest dining... More

On arrival you think you have been dumped in an empty street until you realise that just infront of you is a tiny restaurant. Lovely welcome inside the very rustic looking but very petite restaurant and so the evening commenced. I loved that you have no choice as to what you eat. The chef has decided the 9 course menu... I can't believe his place isn't number 1. Fantastic food, intriguing host. There's no choice on the menu, instead we had a nine course tasting menu, the food is excellent and for such a modest price. I'd highly recommend this place!

This little restaurant on a nondescript corner of quiet lane not far from the Perpignan railway centre, has all of the elements that would make it part of anybody's global food journey. There is a set menu of either 7 or 9 courses - whatever the chef/owner is making from the fresh regional produce sourced that day. We chose the... More

After reading reviews of this little restaurant right by our overnight hotel, we decided to book a table and go. We were not disappointed in any way. The service is correct and unobtrusive and everyone is dealt with in the correct order. There's a quiet air of efficiency and calm. We spent 3.5 hours there being looked after with delicious... The chef has a real talent to deserve five stars rating despite the service and the decor. We had a six course lunch that were perfectly concieved and made to the highest standards, made in a tiny kitchen. He posses the genius and creativity not always present in other high end restaurants. The price is also a gift, given the... More

Went there on a Monday night. We had nice meal at a reasonable price. The mussels were very good and the fish was fresh. Took advice on a local red wine which was only 20 euro and well worth it.

I took two French friends to Garriane last night to thank them for looking after me for the last three weeks and we had a truly excellent evening. I don't know the Perpignan restaurants and I chose Garriane partly because one of the owners is, like me, Australian, so I was a little apprehensive as my friends are French and... More
