After a stressful first day we abandoned our boat at the first mooring place in Narbonne. To tired to walk we booked a table at this restaurant as it was only 100 metres from the boat. Good welcome. Good menu and quality of food was excellent. Presentation was at Michelin standard although not all food at that level but the... More

We decided to eat at the Brasserie du Moulin as we were staying at Clarion Suites and what a great decision. The service was perfect our Maitre de and his staff helped us with choices and made sure glasses were full and we were not sitting waiting. The food was superb. Tuna tartare and CeleryPotage followed by the best beef... More

The food is marvelous: starters, main courses, and desserts. The service is friendly and helpful. The setting, over the river, is beautiful. And the wines (largely local) are great.

What a find tucked away at the end of Narbonne by canal de la Robine I started with terrine of foie gras which was sublime. Main course was the plat du jour of a locally caught fish which had a wonderful taste without being overwhelmingly fishy, if that makes sense. Dessert was a praline of Paris brests. C'était délicieux.

Stayed three days in the hotel. Had dinner first evening in la Brasserie. Good friendly service, all dishes just in time. Top quality products , perfectly cocked with original ideas to make the whole diner just perfect. Tried the number one tripadvisor in town on day two, but decided to go back to the brasserie on day three: again just... More

Situated right by a lock on the canal de la Robine with large terrace, we had a great lunch and some wonderful flavours going on. I enjoyed the pintarde very much. The place is immaculate and the kitchen must have cost a few quid! A good place to head.

We happened to be staying at the Clarion Suites in advance of our trip on the Canal du Midi on the Clair de Lune and decided to drop in at the Brasserie du Moulin du Gua without a reservation. Fortunately we could be fitted in as we were quite early and we enjoyed a most pleasant evening in beautiful surroundings... More

We were six people who came in on a canal boat and tried this restaurant on a cold call with no prior knowledge. It was outstanding. The food was faultlessly top quality and interesting though a little pricey. Great setting on the canal. Lovely ambience. Go there.

I booked here unseen (but using TripAdvisor, of course!) for my hubby's birthday lunch. It was simply perfect. The access is a bit weird but don't let that put you off - because once you enter the canal area, pretty bridge and terrace on the lock - you are transported into another World. High quality food and wines. Brilliant chef... More
