We had dinner in this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The owner welcomed us warmly and was helpful in selecting the wine. The dishes we selected were all excellent ( the brandade first i.e. codfish ) tasty, well-cooked and quite original. The desert was excellent (profiterolles). It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. I... More

We had a lovely lunch here today , with again the type of cooking and taste that you only tend to get from a very short menu . Both the starter and main were very good , and the service was first rate . Highly recommended

everything like at home with friends. good boss, with fresh food. Everyday the chief organises his menu with that he met on the market. Small place, good price. Everything made with love. Important to book before cause just 1 service and full everytime.

Very small restaurant with a very friendly owner. Quaint restaurant in a good location. We visited based on previous reviews, not the kind of place I would ever walk into ordinarily. Just two starters, main and desserts on offer. All delicious, freshly made and full of flavour. We would recommend to everyone. (P.s very clean and nice toilets - a... More

A very good friend of mine and I went to 'L' Ancien Theatre' based on the great reviews on tripadvisor. When we arrived and asked for a table for two, the waiter offered us one of the tables that were available. A few seconds later, the owner arrived and welcomed us to his restaurant. When my friend asked a question... More

We visited this restaurant having read Trip Advisor recommendations and were so glad we went. We had to make a reservation and, at the time we went (end of October) the restaurant was not open at the weekend so best if you check. The restaurant is nicely decorated and intimate. We were made to feel welcome by the owner /... More

This restaurant is right in the centre of Nimes, just behind the art museum and the 2000 year old Roman maison carree and yet it was full of locals, not tourists the night we ate there (except for us of course), which says a lot already. The owner, chef, host is delightfully extroverted and loves food and people. It was... More

I'd walked past this restaurant on three occasions and thought it looked good. My wife and I gave it a try this week and were mightily impressed. My wife has special dietary requirements but the restaurant willingly adapted their menu for her. It was so nice that they were prepared to listen; not a common occurrence in France! The cooking...
