This is an excellent first class restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. There is an good menu with some fine dishes and the service is first class. In the summer it would be difficult to find a better place for your meal on the terrace facing the Arènes.

Our son, who was visiting from London, chose this beautiful restaurant adjacent to the Roman Arena, to celebrate my birthday. It was a balmy night so we sat outside. We had not made a booking (and it was a Friday) but they could accommodate us. The service was excellent, as was our 3 course meal and wine. We could just... More

Service and food both excellent. Food was rich and full of flavour. I had the onion soup, beef entrecote and a stunning raspberry and pistachio sweet. It was quiet with just one other table of guests on a mid week evening. The view of the Arena was just stunning and memorable.

Location location! Looking at the Roman Arenas while enjoying delicious French food and wine was the highlight of my stay in the South of France. I had the menu du marché (that includes a very elaborate butternut soup, codfish along with some peanut/mushroom flavor and a dessert combining bananas and chocolate ice cream). The staff is very professional and attends... More

Perfect location to drop by after visiting the Arena. The onion soup starter was amazing for someone who doesn't like traditional French onion soup. The dessert was an apple dish with a sweet nutty cracker. Very good. The main was bull meat steak. I regretted ordering it medium cooked. It is a tougher meat and I should have kept it... More

We went there for lunch, based on it's being mentioned in the Gault et Millaut Guide. They have a lovely terrace facing the arena, and a very nice menu. The crew in the kitchen definitely know what they're doing. They achieve a very high standard both in terms of presentation and taste. Unfortunately, our experience was a little spoiled by... More

We went for Diner, on the 28 July. Service was very bad - unfriendly and food was horrible. Sorry! Make a detour around that resto!

We went to Nimes for the day and decided to stop at the Arena once we had looked at it for some lunch. Being in the most touristy place there were lots of restaurants and cafe's next to the to the Arena. Believe it or not we chose this restaurant as it looked to be the quietest and we are... More

Had the Lisita set menu between four and we were able to taste all the options for each course. Everything was delicious, especially the foei gras and the strawberry desert Great service and wine recommendation. Plus the view from the terrace was spectacular.
