Excellent, cosy and authentic food and very good service. Small but cosy. Fresh and homemade food. We had a great evening. I would recommend to eat here.

My mother and I were in Montpellier for 2 nights and on recommendation from our hotel for an "authentic" French meal we decided to try Thym & Romarin. In a quieter and lovelier back street, we were greeted by the lovely young guy who offered to explain the dishes to us in English which was very helpful. The Ceviche, Salmon... More

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel and we were very grateful. The young staff at Thym et Romarin were extremely helpful and efficient and the food and wine did not disappoint. Extraordinary value for money and one of our top meals in a two week tour of Provence. The ethos was to promote traditional French cooking... More

Small upstairs restaurant but plenty of room downstairs. Quick, efficient and reasonably presented food. You would need to book as they were turning people away as we ate. Friendly staff and some English spoken. In nice historic area of Montpellier.

I visited this restaurant with six friends to celebrate the completion of an 8-week language course in Montpellier. We were shown to our table downstairs. I recognised immediately the feel of "bistro". Post apéros, I ordered the wine after consultation with mine host, who didn't speak english but was very helpful in his full descriptions of each and every wine... More

This is a pleasant enough restaurant, and worth choosing if you are in the area. It is small, and the kitchen can make the room smoky as others have noted. The dishes were fine, but most seem to rely on butter, cream or cheese and I needed a green salad to clear my palate. The wine of the month appears... More

great food, great execution and presentation. it is recommended to be seated in the downstairs dining room. the restaurant is tiny anyway. Very accommodating and gentle staff. Not expensive. we all four had the 21euros prix fixe (appetizer, entree & dessert). and excellent value.

We went on the recommendation of our hotel (Eurociel) receptionist and it was worth the visit. Small and seemingly run by two men, one cooking and one running front of house. A 50cl carafe of the house red was only €7,85, and very nice. I had 2 courses for €17,70 and only €19,70 for three courses. My starter of black... More

I made a booking via 'The Fork / La Forchette', when my wife and I arrived the owner said that The Fork had never contacted him and that they were a terrible agency always making mistakes. I wish I had left and gone elsewhere but he said he had one table. The table was near the door, the kitchen and... More

This restaurant is tiny, with a few outside tables,in a little back street in the old town. All the meals are based on a 'formule' ie: 2 or 3 courses for a set price. It serves traditional French fare. My husband had a lovely baked Camembert and I had salmon tartare for starter,I then had confit duck and my husband had... More
