La Maison is in the heart of old Montpellier, not far from the Cathedral. Good experience: personnel highly professional and nice menu. Row Tuna served with a sauce "ai citron " and filet de boeuf cooked at low temperature accompanied by a soufflé fondant served with unique dexterity ("flying from the air to your plat "). The wine was a... More

This fine dining restaurant is set in beautiful vaulted rooms and serves excellent food. The menu is diverse and superbly cooked and the wine list extensive. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. I am not entirely sure that aligot suits every dish they serve, but it is nonetheless spectacularly served and testes wonderful (not for calorie counters though). I... More

A classical in the heart of Montpellier. We had fine dining in this elegant French restaurant. Nice courtyard and medieval space.

This is so far the best high class restaurant i ever tried in montpellier. Every thing is high class and the food is tasty. Price is good for the quality of food and service. Really strongly recommended especially for couples and business.

We were advised to go to La Maison de la Lozere and were fortunate enough to get their last table in the courtyard. This is exceptionally good cooking and we were glad we opted for the wine pairings at €30 each. The suckling pig was excellent as was the chocolate soufflé. At €254 for two this was fully priced but... More

I had the pleasure to try this original & creative cook thanks to a local friend for a business dinner where I couldn't fail...! Our guest was frankly impressed by the professionalim of the whole team and the quality of the food. I was myself also impressed by the reasonable price for such a good & successful dinner. I will... We went to the Cellier & Morel for my birthday (Thanks Ange). Great service, a lovely place with vaulted ceilings, great food, and a great wine - we chose Domaine La Cendrillon Inedite, because its local to us - a brilliant wine and we've visited the Domaine since then - the wines can be expensive so choose carefully. The entertainment... More

This is a good venue for a pampered meal. The service is exceptional, and while the entree and main dish were good, the amuse bouche stood out on the the night that I dined here. Attractive use of flowers in the food, some showmanship with the serving (especially the aligot twirling), and a skilled sommelier who will guide you through... More

Delicious, amazing experience, and extremely helpful waitstaff. Our adorable waitress insisted that she translate everything on the menu as everyone in our party did not speak French. Every dish was among the best I'd ever had...and then there was the aligot. Life. Altering. How did a cheese and carb devotee like me not know this existed?! Go hungry and adventerous.... More

Good if you're a foodie. Creative presentation and flavor-mixing. Nice wine list. Definitely not a budget restaurant.
