Tucked away, a lovely walled garden on a warm evening and sheltered from the breeze. We ate delicious pressed pagre and courgettes, a generous portion of guinea fowl with citrus flavouring and wonderful desserts based on hazelnuts, chocolate or pistacchios. Service is attentive and welcoming and the ambience is relaxed and friendly.

Very good meal, beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients. Friendly, professional service. Beautiful setting, cool in the garden after very hot day visiting Montpellier. Best to reserve for a place on the terrace, especially in summer time!

We had dinner and chose one 55 euro menu and one 39 euro menu, both including three courses. The food was good but we thought the prices were too high for the value. The service was very good and professional. The garden is beautiful, but there were too many smokers which prevented us from fully enjoying the food and the... More

I dined here one evening on the terrace in the main restaurant and enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal and glass of wine. The setting is tranquil and the food is excellent with attentive service, but I felt a little overpriced.

Loved this place. Met the owner. Great service - nice wine. Sat in a garden off the Main Street. It would be great to supply some English meat! Farmison.com

The presentation was superior for a non-stared restaurant. The service was great and the food was very good! The dessert was fantastic as was the cheese plate!

I was in Montpellier for a meeting, and this restaurant was recommended to us from the hotel. I am very much a Francophile, and always enjoy traveling to France. This restaurant was no exception, the food and service were quite good, and they offered several different prix fixe menus, with great choices. I had the steak, which was perfectly prepared... More

We had very nice, refined and beautiful servings of French food at Le Petit Jardin. Service was a bit slow; but otherwise absolutely a fantastic place!

The restaurant was recommended to us by a local sommelier. The ambience is very nice and the people friendly. We had the fois grass and a sushi type starter. With paired wine. All perfect. Then the mains was a beef fillet and turbot. The beef was not up to standard too tough! The turbot was nothing special. Again paired wines... More
