Looks like the idyllic, back street, classic bistrot everyone wants to find on their city break in France. Great food, nice wine menu, good value and superb ambiance... until they started to pack up the terrace around us whilst we were still in situ. Our...More

My man enjoyed his big meatball, it was gone in a lightning. My filet stake was not to bad either. The wine was a bit heavy on alcohol but still drinkable. The desserts where both great and the service was great and attentive. It's worth...More

3 amazing courses for 25€, what more could you want? In a city where good restaurants are not rare, Le bistro d'Alco stands out by the quality of its produce, local and well-made. Best meal we've had in Montpellier by a long mile!

Good food from Aveyron, serviceable team (the owner set tables up for our group of 10 on a busy Saturday evening when we tried some other restaurants without success). The place is quite busy so reservation is probably safer

Friendly, laid back, great food. Not the best view but who cares when the plates are so beautiful. It's less touristy this one.

We came across this restaurant whilst wandering around Montpellier. It is an attractive looking restaurant just off the main squares in the city centre. The food was excellent and the service first class. Thoroughly recommended

We saw lots of locals eating here one night so decided to check it out and we were glad we did. The staff were brilliant and although we had no need of it they spoke English. The location is central but on a quiet street...More
