We had heard about Comte Roger from 'foody friends' in the UK and so we booked a table. We were not disappointed, great muse bouche, lovely mains and starter and we skipped pudding/cheese. They were very thoughtful as we shared a main and they brought us 2 more plates out. The owner/manager asked what wine we liked then choose a... More

The atmosphere was special - lovely courtyard with nice inside area too. Just beside church - beautiful courtyard nicely sheltered. The starters were magnificent (goats Cheese and the Salmon & Lentil). Main was a cassoulet - sublime and plenty. Deserts were light and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful with choices including help with wine (delicious dry Rose). A great... More

Five of us came for an evening meal to this popular restaurant. What a great evening we had! Lovely young waitress, great food, excellent service. There is dining inside and outside. I had foie gras to start, shoulder of lamb with couscous and aubergines followed by the most amazing chocolate bombe for dessert. One of us was gluten-free; no problem,... More

We ate here after reading the reviews on trip advisor, casoullette for muy partner and beef fillet with fois gras for me. The food was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, really beyond reproach. We chose a bottle of corbieres which was also fantastic, really could not fault the food at all. However one small tip, service was quite... More

Delicious cassoulet, but starters and soup were not quite so good. The service was too quick - starters came up before we had finished our aperitifs. The waitress was clearly inexperienced, so we wondered if the speed was down to her mishandling orders to the kitchen. It did not seem to be because they needed out table for other diners.... More

This Restaurant offers a high quality and cheerful meal for sorts of tastes. I was delighted with the cassoulet and the desserts. The service and staff could improve to meet the price and style of the place.

My wife and I sought recommendations from locals as to the best place to eat in the Medieval City and on each occasion Comte Roger was the first restaurant which came to mind. We booked a table, and I am glad we did as having taken our seats the spectacle began, and in no time the restaurant was full. Interestingly... More

We had a delicious meal at the Comte Roger. The risotto, in particular, was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were friendly & professional. We would certainly go there again.
