Had a very pleasant meal with great service and comfortable environment. Really enjoyed the very well cooked food with a few unexpected flourishes.

Very much enjoyed dinner here. The amuse bouche was a really nice touch. Contemporary feel inside and very friendly staff. All courses were beautifully presented

Black pudding & pigs trotters, lentil salad with soft egg and cassoulet for 2 were a delightful lunch in the old town of Carcassonne. This was a first time for cassoulet .... I have nothing to compare this with but I enjoyed it immensely. The service is good, the wine list concise but good and the ambience very relaxing. Wonderful... More

Great place - fabulous food - the black ball chocolate dessert I am still drooling over 2 weeks later. Very elegant restaurant, we were there for dinner, centrally situated in the walled city friendly and attentive staff will certainly eat here again.

There is a lot of choice in the old city, but we were very pleased to have chosen this restaurant for lunch. It looked a cut above the general tourist establishments, and that certainly proved to be the case! Delicious food, and a visit to the table by the chef which was a lovely touch.

The restaurant is situated in the heart if the medieval city. We dined in an airy courtyard away from the direct sun. We had a warm welcome from the manager and the staff was generally friendly and helpful. The three-course dinner menu (41 euros) had a good variety of choices. (I think there is also a 30 euro menu at... More

This is a hard review to write as the food here is really very, very good. However, it is hard to appreciate, as the service is so disorganized and slow that we nearly lost the will to live. Amazing fish, incredible desserts all overshadowed by an impossibly long wait. Unless they rethink the service approach I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Elegant fine dining in a self-confident well run restaurant which has been in business for many years. Cold tomato soup pleasant and well presented, while the salad of marinated lentils and smoked salmon would convert even those who are not fans of lentils. Grilled whole sea bass was good. The Cochon Noire Bigorre pork chop had a lot of fat on... More

We had lunch here while visiting the medieval city. We sat inside which was comfortable and more spacious than many other restaurants. I ordered the lentil salad and the the cassoulet from the set menu. Both were very good. They have a children's menu that has a number of choices including a crepe for dessert, which my son enjoyed.

We saw this looked very busy on our 1st night in Carcassonne and so booked it for the next evening to secure a good table. Easily the best restaurant we ate at during our stay. Great service, lovely wine, great amuse bouche, great food. I had the veal tartare starter which was one of the best I have had, followed... More
