What fantastic food! So many different kinds of crepes, perfectly done. The service was great, too, as was the cider. Be sure to make a reservation as we saw many people be turned away.

We enjoyed a delicious meal of a savoury galette followed by a dessert crepe. I recommend you accompany your meal with the house cider. As other reviewers have noted, you will probably be turned away if you just turn up. I made a reservation in advance using email.

We arrived here at 11.40 but were told to come back at 12 when they open. We did just that. We are pleased we did. Formule du midi is good value. The cider is served in a cup which I've not seen before but was told that it is the traditional way. Must drink more cider! Food is not fussy... More

My husband and I have just eaten here and was excellent in every way! Superb crepes and served by the lovely owner who was very pleasant and attentive. The 'nougatine' dessert crepe was amazing. Just disappointed we won't have time to go back before we leave. MUST book ahead-so many people turned away as was full this evening.

I must admit to being partial to a galette or two when 'en France'. I passed this restaurant a few times, noting I should pay a visit. However, when I saw this was the number 1 place to eat in Carcassonne on TripAdvisor, my mind was made up. It is a small restaurant. You might well be fine to just... More

We were as surprised as anyone to find a creperie at No.1 on Trip Advisor's list of restaurants in Carcassonne, deep in the heart of cassoulet country, and were very lucky to get a table at 12.30 for lunch. Afterwards, the proprietor had to keep turning people away as it's a relatively small place and the remaining tables were either... More

I have just returned from this lovely little restaurant with a very full stomach! I have been staying in Carcassonne for a few days and read the reviews on Trip Advisor so decided to book a table for my husband and I on our last night here. Firstly, it is worth booking as it does fill up very quickly. There... More

I followed the advice of other reviewers and arrived a few minutes before Le Ble Noir opened... EVEN SO the place was already full. A family of 8-10 were already seated, and another group of 4 beat us by seconds. Actually, we arrived in between the two pairs but they got the seats. Everything else was already reserved which wasn't... More
