We saw good reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to book. You will find this typical inn off a Main Street near the Municipal Police station. There are steps up into the restaurant and again into the courtyard This is a rustic inn with a tree filled courtyard and a small bar waiting area by the bar and a more... More

One of the best meals I have ever had. I went for the 19.50 euro menu and the food was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend booking of you want to eat here.

Tonight we went to this restaurant that we were recommended. I am usually cautious about recommendations. I am glad we went. My partner had the 19.90€ 3 course set menu meal, and i had the lamb cutlets. All the food was amazing, staff were great. As Molly Meldrum would say, " Do yourself a favour"

We stumbled across this restaurant down a back street, not far from the cathedral. The menu was slightly more expensive than the run of the mill, at 19.90 Euros, but delicious and excellently presented. The staff were very helpful.

Was here in the cité de Carcassonne for a baptism in the church. They had organised for a group of about 20 to have a meal here afterwards. It was a prepared menu so we didn't have any choice in our food. The starter and dessert were ok. But the real star was the mains. Excellent grilled salmon, lightly battered... More

This is a great place to eat. Located on one of the narrow side streets in the old town of Carcassonne it is well worth the visit. The food was not only excellent it was extremely well presented. Service was excellent. Quality was excellent. I highly recommend eating either inside or on the terrace that is available. The cassoulet, a... More

This restaurant is in a small side street near the Cathedral in the old City and was a great find. It had Al la carte plus 3 course menu options ranging from E19.90 to E43. I had a salad of octopus and a delicious Cassoulet and a Tiramisu. The restaurant was busy but the service was very good. English speaking... More

We went to Auberge de Lices we 8 of my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. The staff in the restaurant were really kind and helpful. We mostly had the 19.90 euro three course menu which was fabulous (I had a beautiful fish stew). The restaurant also has a set three course vegetarian menu. This was our best mid value... More

We really enjoyed our evening here. We had it recommended by our guide, but didn't know what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised about getting a gourmet dinner at a very fair price. The service was also excellent and the waiter chose a very good wine for us to go with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant if... More

Though Le Cite is very commercial..locals appear to be the main people eating at this restaurant..wonderful local fare..not expensive..good wines by the glass. As a solo traveller they were very accomodating and helpful
