Stopped in on a Monday when other highly reviewed restaurants were closed. Really glad we did. Had an excellent meal. Warmly greeted by the owner and his son who speaks English. Tried 3 mains: the fresh dorade fish which I picked from a choice of...More

Our family was the first time in Aigues-Mortes and decided on visiting this Restaurant because oft its nice ambiance and interesting menu. There were many local dishes we did not know - so we just chose whatever took our fancy. We were not disappointed. Taste,...More

OK, so maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. But one of the treats of eating there is that the Madame is so undeniably enchanting, along with the rustic inside and the nicely covered terrace. She coddled us, pushed at us, laughed with us, and...More

Highly recommended ! Everything is fresh, the flavor combinations are original and successful, the sauces wonderfully complex. Even the vinaigrette on the salad is special, the taste lightened with a touch of sesame oil. We had the saint pierre, served with an excellent citronny curry...More

From the moment we walked by this restaurant to check out the menu, we were welcomed. When we asked about vegetarian possibilities, the waiter went to the kitchen, and came back with a few possibilities. The kitchen staff had even suggested to make a pizza...More

We 4 Australians happened upon L'Oustau Camarguais around lunch time and liked the fact it was a little away from the busy tourist restaurant area of the square and had shady vines to sit under outdoors. Our French is basic but we were assisted in...More

By chance, and without having read any reviews of it, we stopped for lunch at l'Oustau Camarguais on a recent visit to Aigues-Mortes. Initially, we were attracted by the fact that it's a bit away from the busier tourist areas, and was a bit quieter....More

It was a disaster... Such a horrible evening there! The waiters like in prison, the old lady (owner) like a cruel commendant... And food not so bad, but it wasn't the paradise. And when I saw how much it cost... OMG
