Despite a huge variety on the menu all the food was great. Friendly service, great little spot off the main square and fabulous value. Three courses for 14.90, and the portions were generous. A great meal

After having considered the offerings on the main square, we found La Pignata on a street just off it. It was busy, but felt more relaxed and unhurried than the other restaurants we'd looked at. The service was good, with one waitress in particular being friendly and helpful. My partner had a set menu whilst I had a la carte.... More

We found this little pavement Italian restaurant after wandering away from the busy restaurants of the main square. I can highly recommend it. Firstly, the service was prompt, friendly and efficient from beginning to end. Secondly, the food was simple, well prepared, reasonably priced and tasty. I had the set menu Eur14.50 lunch menu and chose an assiette of charcuterie,... More

First visit despite many frequent visits to other restaurants in the town. Small, simple, family run - saw no sign of the ogre from the kitchen. Value for money correct - wouldn't refuse to go back, but nothing special to make it stand out from the pack.

We had the three-course €13.80 menu. 50cl carafe of wine was €5.20 so good value all round. Food was really good - we both started with moules which very tasty then I had the roasted sea bass with basil & chips - can't remember the other dishes but the food was very good. Definitely recommended.

Went to go here for lunch, chose a table in the shade for our four month old and parked his pushchair directly next to our table. After waiting nearly ten minutes for a menu we were told to move because of the buggy...so we got up and left. The manager did not attempt to find another table or apologise. Can't... More

Reasonably priced, and varied menu. Pizza was good as was the bull stew ( local speciality) that I had. Decent wine by the carafe too. Friendly staff and good service even though quite busy. Can't complain.

We had the set menu for lunch. The food was great, lovely oysters, tasty fish and nice cheese for dessert. Good kids menu and they bought his food first which is always handy. Great value for money and the service was great - friendly and efficient. Would recommend and would return.

Went there for late dinner. Very nice place, packed full. We managed to get a table for 2 and our waiter was very kind and helpful. We ordered Pizza and Pasta. Both very tasty. Reasonable prices. I don't know yet if I would be back there again because there are many restaurants all around but if you choose this particular... More
