We stopped in for lunch and had the veal bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. It was a huge portion smothered in cheese and came with pasta covered in a homemade tomato sauce. I highly recommend it! The staff were also super friendly and we had a lovely table outside

We had lunch at this restaurant. The mussels were fresh, delicious and plentiful for an entree. We also had the fresh fish and it was very very tasty. This was washed down with an excellent rose. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this as a good value restaurant.

I have to say I was very disappointed with meal, the first course was burnt and the main course was a little like a badly cooked mixed grill, by far the worst meal in an otherwise excellent 5 day stop in this lovely town.

Looking for lunch, we checked out the main square bur spied Pignata down a pretty little side street. Varied Mediterranean menu with local specialities, we ate the seafood pasta and a magret of duck. Both were delicious and well cooked, service was excellent and the final tally very good value.

Despite a huge variety on the menu all the food was great. Friendly service, great little spot off the main square and fabulous value. Three courses for 14.90, and the portions were generous. A great meal

After having considered the offerings on the main square, we found La Pignata on a street just off it. It was busy, but felt more relaxed and unhurried than the other restaurants we'd looked at. The service was good, with one waitress in particular being friendly and helpful. My partner had a set menu whilst I had a la carte.... More

We found this little pavement Italian restaurant after wandering away from the busy restaurants of the main square. I can highly recommend it. Firstly, the service was prompt, friendly and efficient from beginning to end. Secondly, the food was simple, well prepared, reasonably priced and tasty. I had the set menu Eur14.50 lunch menu and chose an assiette of charcuterie,... More

First visit despite many frequent visits to other restaurants in the town. Small, simple, family run - saw no sign of the ogre from the kitchen. Value for money correct - wouldn't refuse to go back, but nothing special to make it stand out from the pack.

We had the three-course €13.80 menu. 50cl carafe of wine was €5.20 so good value all round. Food was really good - we both started with moules which very tasty then I had the roasted sea bass with basil & chips - can't remember the other dishes but the food was very good. Definitely recommended.

Thank Voigt
