Nice outdoor seating on a beautiful autumn day. Menu was okay and a bit expensive. Service was a bit disinterested, very slow and no tip as a result. Lucky we were on a private tour with an understanding driver due to the slow service. Don't...go there unless you want an experience we had or have heaps of time to killMore

Ravenous after visiting the chateau, we stopped here for a late lunch, as there were few options available. The service was okay, albeit brusque. Our sons consumed a tired hamburger with limp fries and some dry chicken, and my husband and I split a Salad...Niçoise. It was the worst Niçoise I have ever eaten - the lettuce was old, the veggies were pale, the olives were absent, the tuna was unrecognizable, and the dressing had no flavor, as if they had forgotten the vinegar or lemon. Oh wait, the oil, which couldn't have been olive oil, had a rancid note. We managed several bites, then gave up. Over the course of the week Montezuma's Revenge and puking hit all four of us. I shudder to imagine what might have happened had we ingested the entire meal? How can a "restaurant" like this stay open? Would have given 0 or negative stars, if I could!More

Went there for a “quick” salad and dessert on a Friday of one of the busiest weekend of the year at the nearby Chateau. Even though the place was half empty, it took us almost two hour to get a simple salad followed by dessert...and coffee. Not only was the service unacceptably slow but our server was extremely unpleasant, hardly spoke any French (or English for that matter), and was obviously very unhappy with her job. Luckily, the other server was a pleasant and very apologetic young woman, which accounts for the rating of 2 this visit received - it would otherwise have gotten a 1 out of 5. The food itself was unimpressive but average.More

I cannot comment on the food as we left Le Moliere after waiting 40 minutes to be spoken to. I had to get up from the table and ask another waiter if we could see the menu as the waitress for our table openly ignored...us and served 3 groups first, all of whom arrived after us. Truely terrible service and after reading some of the other posts about the food, I am so glad we decided to leave.More

I went to this restaurant for drinks with my boyfriend’s family after a day drip to Versailles and to see the palace. The service was not only terrible, but extremely hostile. They were very upset that we did not order drinks right away, and let...me be clear that we said we would be doing drinks for now and we could have easily been persuaded into appetizers. The waitress angrily took our cups, silverware, and napkins dropping a knife on my boyfriend’s mother leaving her with a scraped ankle. The waitress did not apologize and did not speak to us for the rest of our time at the restaurant. I would recommend going somewhere else, even if you just need a place to sit because the service is so terrible and rude. Very disappointed in how our perfect day in Versailles came to an end.More

I stayed at one of the outside tables. The waiter was polite, the food had a good taste and appearance, but a few hours later I started to feel really sick.

We were visiting Versailles and wanted to have lunch on our way from the train station. We expected a few more choices once we got to Versailles. The Chateau is just a few minute walk from the train and this was on the way so...we stopped. We sat out in a courtyard which was nice. Service was slow and the waiter seemed confused about what was going on. We ordered a bottle of wine that never came. When he brought our meals we asked him about it. He said they did not have any. We ordered an alternate choice. Then he came back with the first wine. There was only one other table so it was not busy. He just did not know what he was doing. I ordered the "assorted meats" which were actually quite good. My daughter and husband ordered salads which both enjoyed. It was not the best meal that we had in Paris, by far, but I would certainly prefer to eat here vs. the other choices of KFC or McDonald's.More

Flavorless onion soup, tough meat and basic service. It is in a little square with a nice patio, but just blah.

My family and I visited Versailles whilst in France hoping to partake in the culture and food. We stopped by this place while waiting for the evening lights show at the Garden in tthe Chateau. We left wishing we had gone to KFC or Mcdonalds....It was literally the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant. Straight out of kitchen nightmare.More
