Best pizza I’ve ever had - period. Quality ingredients, great fluffy and light texture, amazing flavours. Service is friendly and effective. Spaghetti alla bolognese also tasted great. We finished with tiramisu - delicious.

We've eaten at this restaurant two nights in a row. The food was spectacular. Authentic Italian. (I'm married to an Italian... who didn't speak English before we got together). We had some of the best pizza we've had outside of Italy... and even better than...some pizza we've eaten IN Italy. We also had the scalopine... it was phenomenal. Following dinner, dessert hit the spot with tiramisu, amarena gelato, and Panna cotta... the tiramisu and Panna cotta were both homemade. The food was only outdone by the outstanding service. The team at Il cilento was so friendly and extremely helpful to our family... especially our 4.5 year old daughter. The service was nothing short of amazing, and that comes from someone who has spent her whole life working in the service industry. Highly recommend!!!!More
We came to Versailles on a thursday evening and had no reservation. We got a table outside. Although it was very busy, service was very good, fast and with a friendly touch. Pizza was more than faboulous. Red wine Bardolino was served right away. We...will come back.More
Amazing pizza and a great ambiance , havent ate better in Versailles. Will turn back for the lasagna
Been there because of the recommendations and were not disappointed. lasagne and pizza are good and handmade. i am not a fan of the grappa but it was the best i have had so far.
We were in the area and stopped in to try something Italian for Thursday lunch - we couldn't be seated as the place was packed! But no worries, Sirio, the owner and chef, promised us a table if we came back in 30 minutes, and...true to his word, there it was for marked for us when we returned. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. She had an absolutely brilliant fresh pasta calamarata crema, and I an unbelievable light, fragrant, and experiential custom calzone, paired with Sirio's selection of a stunning Sicilian Red and an exquisite white. They have their own custom hyper-modern tiled Pizza oven from Modena, and a kitchen that seems dedicated to making one love modern Italian cuisine. The aromas from the door alone will pull you inside. The Décor is simply refined and tasteful, with only 36 seats at individual tables each lovingly attended to by the knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff. It's within reasonable walking distance of the Versailles Palace and most of the hotels, but is nestled in it's own little bit of Versailles' beautiful historical district. This one is an absolute gem folks, my pick for best restaurant in all of Versailles, for any occasion, a true gourmet experience made just plain fun.More
We were looking for a restaurant near to our hotel and reasonably priced. This restaurant ticked the boxes . The service was quick and the pizza was tasty and plentiful. We hadn't booked but the owner found us a place and this was at 7pm.Please try their...tiramisu which ,according to my wife,is the best she has ever tasted . The two course meal with drinks and coffee was 56 euros.More
We ate at the Cilento after a long day at the Palace and were looking for a simple, tasty meal served quickly and in a calm atmosphere. We found it at the Cilento. Very fast, friendly service and with an Italian wife - our standards...were already high on entering - and we weren't disappointed. Simple food but good tasting.More

We come to lots of places in the world and have been to many Italians but this one is our favorite so far! Everything was so fully of taste and simply finger licking good and the hosts super friendly!
My wife and I enjoyed our last dinner in France at Il Cilento in Versailles. The homemade pasta was piping hot served el dente with tremendous fresh ingredients. The server was very charming and friendly. Please stop in if you get a chance as it...is very close to the palace.More
Only ordered the fettuccini and pesto. It tasted bland compared to what I am used to as it had too subtle garlic. It came across as too green tasting. Wish I could be more descriptive. The creamy part was good. Parmesan was tasty.
Small restaurant, with capacity for just over 30 covers. Modern very light decor, welcoming friendly Italian staff. Menu is not overly extensive, but has a decent choice of maybe 6-8 pastas, a similar number of meat dishes and pizzas. Quality was very good - we...shared a Caprese for a starter - this was a big portion, large enough for 2 and the buffalo mozzarella and olive oil were of exceptional quality and taste. A delight to eat. My wife had her usual Spaghetti Carbonara and enjoyed it. I chose Saltimbocca a la Romana, a dish I like very much. The veal was very good, although the sauce I felt was much too creamy and thicker than I have previously eaten. Unusually the dish was served with spaghetti rather than vegetables. The spaghetti went well with the thicker sauce though. We both ordered Colonels for desert, the restaurant offers a choice of either Vodka or Limoncello with the lemon sorbet. We tried both although I preferred the traditional Vodka version. Decent restaurant.More
