Open late and was very good and very reasonably priced, we thought. Typical French "slow" service but fine! Lovely presentation in copper pots- good standard French menu. Will return!

We had a lovely seafood platter with excellent fresh oysters, mussels, shrimp etc. We also ordered moules a la creme which had no flavor whatsoever. My son ordered gnocchi with aspagarus - instead they brought gnocchi with large chunks of ham! This wasn't even on the menu and when we spoke to the waiter about it he said that he... More

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff which were really great at entertaining the baby. My sister in law and I had the cheese and meats board with wine. It was lovely and a good portion size. It's a great spot for people watching too. All in all, lovely experience

We've been coming to this restaurant for years. We have always stayed around this neighborhood every time we are in Paris and on days when we don't want to venture out for lunch or dinner, this is our usual go-to place. Yes, a lot of tourists do come but the food is consistently good. On our last visit, we were... More

This is a very popular seafood cafe in the Latin Quarter. Great for people watching and the food is very good. It is a little more upscale than some of the neighboring cafe's and offers a pretty diverse menu. My partner had the beef stew which was recommended by the waiter and he said it was amazing. I had the... More

It's the perfect place to get seafood and entertainment at the same time. This is a place that have the very french seafood platters served for two. We had the moules marienieres. And they were way to salty. One in the group had the creamy one, and it was perfect. And the food on the other tables generally looked good.... More

Outside of the fact that sitting at the L'Atlas's terrace on Rue de Bucci and just enjoy watching people passing through or having a chat with your neighbor can be great fun all by itself, you'll find very pleasant service and a surprisingly elaborate and very good value for money menu served until late. Go for wine instead of beer... More

Stumbled across this gem whilst investigating the quaint back streets of Paris. We were not dissapointed...pulled in by the local musicians over the road we were greeted with great service and even better food.the snails were delicious as was the mussels. My wife is a sucker for a creme caramel and she said it was the best she has ever... More

This place has a very vibrant atmosphere on the weekends ...... As a tourist, this place confirms to all the stereotypes of a typical Parisian restaurant, hence it is a great place to spend at least one Saturday evening ! ........ Just sit here outside, & soak into your image of Paris, & watch the people go by ........

We simply sat there eating boards of bread and fabulous Frenchs meats and drinking wine. Situated in the latin quarter it is full of young and old. The wine is of the highest quality and the staff are very French. You can just sit, relax and people watch. Not the cheapest but worth even penny. A must visit.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
