The crepes here, both sweet and savoury, are absolutely fantastic. I went back several times when living in Paris and look forward to going back. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. Only issue is you can't book online and you can only book by calling between certain hours on certain days - that... More

We went right next door as main cafe full up but their restaurant right next door was not. So glad we did and chatted with others at table- so much fun and delicious!

Great crêpe bretonne and sucree for lunch. They also have good cider, I recommend Poire Granit, it is outstanding and rated 9.2 on delectable app. Seems very popular with tourists and Asians, we shared our cider with an single English lady and made a friend

Just be ready to stand in line and wait. And the good news is that the food is well worth the wait. Be sure to get a galette with an egg in it. Soo yummy - Because it is very close to the Picasso Museum (also a 'must'), Brezih Cafe remains crowded. If you can plan your lunch for around... More

There are crepes and creperies -- and there is Breizh Cafe! Popular, crowded, and despite that -- a must! There are two adjacent locations on rue Vielle du Temple. The corner spot is the restaurant/ cafe and next door is the epicerie (filled as such with goodies all Breton-sourced). If you are going solo, next door is your best bet.... More

My husband is not a fan of crepes, and was rolling his eyes that I was going to subject him to a dinner of crepes -- but this restaurant converted him. The menu is vast and inventive, with traditional offerings and off-the-wall suggestions. There is also an extensive cider menu. We got a pitcher of their house cider, and it... More

Had the best galette & crepe in Paris! Both galette & crepe are done so well. It is heavenly! Missing this place so much! Highly recommend!!

I came here just for the crepes and, even though it was lunch time, they were able to make an exception and serve me the best crepes I've ever had. Highly recommend the ginger salted caramel sauce!! It's also in a fantastic area to walk around in - the Marais.

you should rather book or call ahead, as the restaurant is nearly always packed with people. But check out the Epicerie next door - there is a table around which crèpes may be served too (so extra 6-8 seats). Tasty high quality fillings with light and tender pancakes, Brittany style, but in the center of old Paris !

Simple cafe but serves arguably the best crepes you'll ever taste! They serve buckwheat crepes with traditional ham, cheese and egg but add any of a number of extras like mushrooms, artichokes, onions and it's like heaven. We saw a plate of oysters being served to the table next to us and the couple seemed positively delighted. Save room for... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
