Best crêperie I've been to! Visited this place with my mum and the staff were so friendly and helpful! I'm avoiding gluten, lactose and sugar which can be a big problem in France, but not at this place! The chef made me a lovely galette (buckwheat flour) with smoked salmon, grilled zucchini, onion cooked in applecider vinegar and chives, which... More

Came here for a Sunday lunch/brunch started with a superb savoury galette, probably the best I have ever had followed by a very good sweet crepe which was good but not quite in the same league as the galette, highly recommended but you can spend a long time waiting for a table and booking online isn't possible so telephone or... The place is small so reservations are recommended or arrive early. A small terrace is available. Not much room between the tables. Very good and crepes with a large choice. Crispy cook for the salted ones. Smooth for the dessert ones. Large selection of Cider from Britanny. 50 euros for two.

Expect to line up! But all worth it. The crepes and galettes are amazing, the quality of all ingredients is amazing (organic, great quality), service is always nice and knowledgable. Do make sure you visit (or eat - at the communal table - if the main branch is too busy and you don't have the patience) the small grocery next... More

An absolute must for breakfast! Delicious crepes with Carmel sauce and savory chorizo, egg, and cheese crepe. One of the best breakfasts I've ever experienced. Reasonable cost.

Breizh Cafe is not very comfortable, they pack as many people as they can around tiny tables. The service is rushed and impersonal. But you still want to go there for brunch because the make these darn good crepes. That's it.

The absolutely best crepes ever! Tiny cafe, long long wait. Worth every minute of that long wait. The food is exceptional, no wonder the long lines. Be aware the stairs up to the toilets are very steep and narrow.

First of all I need to say that from the quality of the served food it was brilliant however the emotional factor was not good. First: We were asked to wait until a table becomes availible what was absolutely ok however the tone was absolutly not acceptable and arrogant. Still we ignored it and waited another 10min until we got... More

Amazing crepes, service, and atmosphere. Very authentic. Coffee hot and strong. Would definitely come back next trip to Montreal.

We booked in advance for dinner for our family of four. Breizh is a terrific experience: busy, friendly, delicious. We tried the cider, the galettes, and the crepes. The buckwheat crepe with buckwheat ice cream and buckwheat honey was a standout. Our children, the only ones in the restaurant, were made to feel welcome.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
