Great meal - for a cruise

I would like to give this more than a 4 but cannot say it rose to the level of deserving a 5. The boat itself was very nice - we liked all the wood, and it is nice to be on something other than the standard bateaux-mouche type boat. Cruise itself was nice but nothing out of the ordinary -... read more

We had an amazing night here at the beginning of January. This boat is by far the most intimate and most amazing of the boats I have been on, on La Seine. Perfect for a couple. We were not a couple at the start of the night but after this amazing evening we were:-) Our waiter was Phuntsou, French/Tibetan. He... More

When you go on a dinner cruise, you tend to wonder whether the food will really be as good as a restaurant. The meal we had was the best we had during our stay in Paris. The boat is great, the cruise was relaxed and enjoyable and the service was friendly and efficient. I particularly liked the fact that the... More

We celebrated a friends 40th here on a weekend in Paris. It was planned as the highlight of the trip and it didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The salmon tartare was a hit. Great views along the Seine and a fun and different experience was has by all.

Charming old boat, beautifully restored - a nice contrast to large industrial-looking boat trips. Food is not top gourmet style, but tasty and nicely arranged and served. Service is good, even when tending to a large party like ours. Will certainly return.

We were only in Paris for three nights but I wanted to experience a dinner cruise. We were joined by a lovely couple who were on their honeymoon. It is a wonderful boat. We were seated upstairs and I thought we had a good table, which we did until everyone decided to go outside when the Eiffel Tower was lit... More

The boat itself stands out against the rest. A beautiful and characteristic boat, beautifully decked out and has the most perfect ambiance. One of the best nights I have had. Food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Yes it's a bit pricey, but it's an amazing night. The views, the food, the boat, the ambiance, the service and above... More

Excellent on every level, the service, the surroundings, the food, the attention to detail, the cruise was perfectly timed to see the Eiffel Tower light show, I cannot recommend this highly enough. My partner booked it as a surprise for my 50th, wow, it was brilliant, we did the evening cruise. Everything about was just magical. The waiters, customers and... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
