If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a decent meal but also for an atmosphere, this place does the trick. Works well for friends, families or couples. Was quite lively for a Saturday night and the food was good.

The Place is Nice, in a charmy corner at rue de Belleville. Service is great. Food was very good but a little bit expensive.

Bread was good out of my entire order. Eggplant not fresh, soup not tasty at all. For children fries were average. Chicken was ok. But overall very disappointing and that’s why don’t recommend.

Steak was raw and both hamburgers we raw, kids took one look and didn't even took a bite. Over price for the quality. Food took a long time, don't mind if the food was actually worth it. Don't go

We loved the location, the service, and the feel of the place. Food was not quick, but for a long afternoon of drink and eating was just right for us. Food was good (escargot maybe overcooked? tartar with a bit too much put in it?)....Very nice place to have nice long lunch with friendsMore

This is a great spot for a casual dinner. The bar / cafe is full of locals and the food is served fast and is good. We had 3 different dishes, a steak, Salmon and a burger and these were all good. The prices are...very reasonable too.More

I went several times with friends. At the beginning it was ok, even if my fiancé was furious once because of a so-called Irish Coffee looking like an espresso with bad whisky in it, and a very nasty waitress. Then last week I came with...an American friend, cook in a very high-rated restaurant in the 7th area of Paris ; I invited her because I find the food good. She was horrified, like me, by the service, and ask for explanations ; in fact the waiter was too tired to serve us outside... Arrogant, aggressive, probably because of the success of the restaurant. Disgraceful. Never again, many good and welcoming restaurants in the area.More

We arrived with two on a saturdaynight and there was still place for us. Service is friendly and fast. It's a real small kitchen but the chef manages to put things quickly on the table, with a lot of different classic bistro fare on the...menu. Cold courses seem to come from an underground kitchen underneath the bar. We had steak and duck leg and both where good. Staff is friendly and the housewine they proposed was really good. Only minus was presenting desserts and when ordering saying it's not available. But it didn't spoil the evening at all. Good bistro experience.More

Was here withy my dad a couple of times. Very good food, quite cheap, great quality, amazing staff (very friendly and not snobby like in city center). Overall great local atmosphere. Love this place!!! Highly recommend. P.S. Best duck confit in Paris ( and I've...tried many).More

Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père
Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local
treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery,
family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between
local stores and establishments. The richness of the
population here has created a little Chinatown of
Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night
by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one
