My wife and I ended our time in Paris with a meal at Le Bouclard, and it couldn't have been better. I'm not necessarily big on organ meats, but tried the veal kidney anyway. I am now a veal kidney fan. My wife had a veal steak, perfectly cooked. The waiter picked a perfect wine. The most touching thing about... More

We chose this restaurant because it had an air conditioner and it was still at least 35degC outside. It proved to be a wise decision. The staff were lovely and attntive, and spoke good english. The food was very flavoursome, and the sauces divive.

Celebrated a birthday here with some friends. Le Bouclard was a delight. Unpretentious. Quiet, attentive and friendly service, delicious food that was brought at an un-hurried pace. We were given time to enjoy our meal. A martini to start with got the meal off to a good start. The foie gras was delicious. Chicken tarragon, veal and pigs trotter with... More

One of those nice local parisian restaurants. Nice food, large portions and a very funny host! Try the Norwegian omelet with the home brewed run.

Just a perfect find; restaurant have'nt changed their menu in 25 years! I would suggest to stay in foie gras-dishes. And great desserts as well. Full of locals, great staff.

We loved the food and wine, enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly hosts, highly recommended although not cheap, but you get a special-priced menu if you come before 7:30 pm; we came twice in one trip!

If you want a taste of the best that the French kitchen has to offer, le Bouclard should be your first stop! Their menu has not changed for the last 25 years, because you should never disturb perfection. At le Bouclard, you can treat your taste buds to many delicious dishes, but my husband and I are extremely fond of... More

There is no where like le Bouclard, if you went good food, good wine, good service! It is typical Paris, the atmosphere is like out of a movie.

Jacqueline was friendly and made us feel welcome, who was a kind maitre de. It had a simple selection of food, but if you want to get classic French food, try this restaurant. It's a bit off the main road and we had to ask for directions.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
