I am a vegetarian; however, the party I was dining with is not and they all agreed that Au Petit Sud Ouest had the BEST confit they had tasted during our stay in Paris (including a duck confit starter on the flight back)! My dining partners had confit four times in Paris and this was the undisputed champion. In addition,... More

If you love duck you must visit Au Petit! I had one desire, perfect foie gras and I was not disappointed. It was outstanding! What brought it over the top was the individual toasters on the tables where they toast beautiful slices of bread for you. You put the foie gras on it and it melts like butter. They offer... More

I stopped here after visiting the Eiffel Tour and this was a great experience. Known for the Duck I ordered it and it was very good. There were toasters on the tables when I was there. Every had their own toaster which was very cool to me for some reason.

I cannot imagine having anything but foie gras here. It is on every element of the menu except for dessert. They are makers and purveyors of foie gras. It was close to 100F that day, so I had a salad with fois gras and duck done three different ways, a glass of nice wine, and a dessert (three types of... More

If you like quality foie gras and are also health then please eat here. My husband is a fastidious eater. He's not so much health conscious as quality conscious (although he is petit at 6'1" and 160-165 pounds). The portions were not small but modest so we didn't overeat (good for mommy'a waistline). Most everything was organically sourced and fresh... More

The most amazing restaurant for duck and foie gras. Throughout my travels around the world I have never come across a restaurant that serves duck in the manner they do. When my whole duck breast arrived I thought they had served me a filet mignon, tender juicy and cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable and the cleanliness of the restaurant,... More

Fresh pan fried goose n duck liver for dinner. The livers melted in the mouth. Yes they were oily but they were fragrant! You will enjoy them in various styles. I had it in apple paste. Very very yummy. The goose leg was good too, though i prefer the fresh livers more but i needed to fill my stomach. The... More

This delightful restaurant is very near the Eiffel Tower but seems a world apart in atmosphere. It gives you the feeling of being in a true Parisian neighborhood spot complete with the owners doing the cooking and serving. It features the rich food of the southwest with lots of fois gras and duck dishes. We stuck with the latter which... More
