We came here on our first night for an 8:30 pm Saturday night dinner. We ordered empanadas as an appetizer and were not disappointed. You could really taste all the different flavors: dough, pepper, and beef. We ordered two filets as entrees. We ordered them medium, and i wouldve called it more like medium rare, but im not complaining! Both... More

Delicious meat imported from Argentina, a large choice of argentinian wines, great charcuterie, and a very friendly staff!

The best argentin restaurant in Paris, with such a nice ambience and services. The food is great !! Think to make a reservation before

I read about the place on Le fooding and was eager to go. The place is very cool-- decorated really nicely and I really liked the vibe. I wish the food lived up to the hype. Both the entree (trio of empanadas) and plat (steak) were average at best.

My third visit - each time I find the steak exceptional, and the staff friendly. The wine is always good too. I wouldn't really recommend this place for lunch, as it is quite expensive, but we knew we would not be able to have dinner because of travel plans, so it was a great way to build up some reserves... Delicious wine as advised by very knowledgeable staff. The meat, as one would expect in an Argentine restaurant, was fabulous as were the starters and sides. We asked for a Lagavullin as a digestif, but when they said they didn't have any they offered us an Argentine liqueur in its place, on the house. Not at all the same thing,... More

Typical Argentinian place: amazing bloody steaks and fries, good Malbec, and mediocre service - which is ok since the food is absolutely amazing. The décor is really nice, the place actually used to be a butcher's shop, and the owners preserved most of its original appearance. Plus, you should definitely try the desserts of dulce de leche.

This was my second visit to El Unico and the steak was equally as delicious and tender as my first visit! We were a shocking forty minutes late for our reservation and fully expected to be turned away. However, we were shown to a table and while we took our seats embarrassed and apologetic, the waitress gave us our menus... More

On a trip to Paris in June 2014 we had a lovely lunch here. We shared the empanadas for starter (17€ for 3) followed by the menu de jour (steak, drink and a coffee) also 17€. The empanadas were delicious but overpriced. The menu was excellent value but the a la carte was a lot more expensive. The menu is... More
