I was in the neighborhood and read about Pain Pain in my travel guide so I had to stop by. I had a delicious escargot chocolate pistache and for dessert, a stunning slice of raspberry crumb cake, which I forgot to take a photo of!...Darn, it was beautiful! The staff is efficient and the line moves fast. Definitely worth a trip!More

We came to Pain Pain for breakfast and had three delicious pastries - a croissant, a pear/chocolate pastry, and a custard-filled brioche. So tasty that we came back the next day to buy more breakfast and a slice of quiche, olive/tomato/cheese bread and two cakes...to take away as well. There are around 4 little tables by the window which was handy in the rain.More

This is our go-to bakery in all of Montmartre. Great selection, fair prices, and sweet personnel. We especially recommend grabbing a baguette sandwich with your choice of fresh stuffing, which is a perfect option for bringing on-the-go on a trip somewhere else in Paris. You...might have to wait a short while, as this place is deservedly very popular.More

Visited when we had a short stay in Pigalle. Just a bit of a walk from the Pigalle metro and you’ll find this stylish, cute patisserie and cafe awaiting you. There isn’t much space for seating, but you can have your bread and pastries to...go, and enjoy it at a park nearby. The fruit tart crusts were absolutely divine, and the eclairs to perish for. A must go-to place when visiting Paris.More

Nice little bakery near Sacré Cour, the croissants were tasty as was the eclair. There is no seating so you have to stand and eat as the only place to sit is back up a steep hill.

Delicious authentic French Boulangerie AND patisserie a short walk from Pigalle metro..( up the hill , on the corner ). Ready made filled baguettes were yummy and we had the privilege of staying nearby, so daily trips for breakfast fare did not disappoint! Looking forward...to visiting again.More

Wandering our last day in the neighborhood of Montmarte where we were staying we found Pain Pain. We picked up breakfast (croissant, quiche, and a coffee) to go and enjoyed it at near by park where the “Love Wall” is situated. It was delicious! Yes...there was a line but it was worth it. The other pastries were too good to pass up so we came back in the afternoon to pick up eclairs.More

After venturing into a lot of boulangeries throughout Paris, I wouldn't say Pain Pain is one of the best. It's a solid place, very busy with all the foot traffic in Montmartre. Service is debatable, but the goods are decent.

We had the coco apricot tarte and tarte au citron as well as the financier. All were very good. The staff was nice. It has a small area where you can sit.

We visited twice during our stay in Montmatre, the pastries were perfection, literally the best I’ve ever tasted. Service also very friendly and obliging. Go there, you won’t be disappointed.

Best pastries we had while we were in Paris. We had breakfast 2 mornings in a row in Montmartre and both times every week had was wonderful. The staff speaks minimal English but we managed with the small amount of French we knew and pointing...to what we wanted we managed. We sampled the pain au chocolat, the Speculoos eclairs, and these wonderful bread pockets stuffed with ham and cheese. Best croissants also!More

Love this place! Visited several times during trips to Paris (2018/2019) and never fails to disappoint! Staff are very friendly and service is quick! Great for breakfast as well as lunch items! Love stopping here before getting the Eurostar back to London! It’s a 10ish...minute walk to the Gare du Nord.More

My hotel didn’t serve breakfast and this bakery was just around the corner serving a wide range of pastries with Illy coffee to go. We got some of the mini pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat) as well as the full size almond croissant and chocolate-pear...spiral, all delicious. If you’re planning a picnic lunch, the bread looks great but I can recommend the quiche slices. We had quiche Lorraine and onion tart and enjoyed both. Next time I’m in the area I really want to try some of the desserts.More

Great baguettes and pastries. This was one of our patisseries when we stayed in Montmartre. They've won awards for their baguettes. Also delicous - croissants, eclairs, mille-feuilles, raspberry/pistachio tart.
