Great find off the main drag, good range of menu with lots of vegetarian options, fast service and reasonable prices. Staff friendly and full of locals. Food was good and prices good. Would revisit.

Stumbled upon this place as we were walking through the neighborhood. It seemed less touristy, but appealing in its own charming, quirky way. And so it is! Perfect late-night eats -- I had the steak tartare, she had the onion soup. Both well-executed. And the...More

I found this place on a blog about French restaurants that serve vegetarian food. It's always hard for a vegetarian in Paris, particularly if you share your life with a meat eater who doesn't want to miss out on the gastronomic delights of France! Bistro...More

We had been told about Bistro Ernest from a friend who lives in Paris. It is the ideal place to converage and eat healthy and heartily with those of you in your party that are meat eaters and those that are not. My husband and...More

This is a small restaurant with only a few tables. The menu is on a chalkboard, so I believe it is what the chef has fresh or feels like cooking that day, which is fine by me. The night we went there a guitarist/singer was...More

Our lunch recently at Bistro Ernest exceeded our expectations. This lovely place was very close to our apartment during our recent stay in Paris. It's a charming restaurant and a local feel as we seemed like the only tourists in the restaurant. My wife and...More

Not even sure where to start but here we go...........We arrived very late Thursday night for a Bistro (22:30) looking for a local place to get food. We were warmly welcomed and sat immediately. The location is small (seats maybe 20) but comfortable. It was...More

Absolutely appalling meal - frozen lasagne from a microwave and grossly over-priced plonky wine. A miserable meal for two costing over 65 Euros. Has the atmosphere of a down and dirty bar, and there's nothing wrong with it for a quick beer. But don't waste...More

We went to Bistro Ernest on our last night in Paris to get vegetarian food as a change of pace. The place is very small and informal. The owner is a vegetarian himself, though there were meat and fish dishes on the menu. The food...More

We went there because we read that they had vegan and non-vegan options. My daughter is vegan: the rest of our family is not vegan. My daughter ordered a lentil dish. It would have been vegan except for the fried egg on... More
