We dropped off here to get some nice French pâtisseries as we’d heard of it and it’s good reviews. The traditional pâtisseries such as chocolate in pastry and the chausson aux pommes were very good, but not dissimilar to your typical bakery but my friend...More

Utopie is a small Boulangerie-Patisserie near the Place de la Republique. Not much of any space for dining-in, so this is a takeaway bakery only. Fabulous croissant, tarts, cakes, cookies. And the baguettes (several varieties) are very nice too. Counter staff are helpful and friendly,...More

There was a very long queue outside the door for this place! We tried lots of different treats including the brioche, the pain au chocolate and the patisseries. All tasty but we found the pastries weren’t anything special! N

Utopie was close to our hotel, so I went there every morning to buy croissants, pain suisse, pain au chocolat or almond croissant. All were excellent. The place is a favourite with locals as well as tourists, so there are queues morning, afternoon and evening....More

Boulangerie Utopie is very popular among both tourists and locals, and their bread is really good. They have 5 different breads sold by weight (so you can just buy one slice) as well as an array of loaves and baguettes. They also have pastries and...More

As was the same when we visited 2 years ago there was a line waiting to get in but it was worth the wait. The pastries are delicious and they use different combinations of ingredients to get these stunning cakes to taste so divine

We were strolling around Paris looking for a delicious baguette and we discovered Boulangerie Utopie. Not only is their traditional baguette delicious but their charcoal baguette (black baguette in pictures) is otherworldly!!! A MUST IF YOU ARE NEARBY!!!

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

It was take out only. It is small inside and standing room only. Worth the wait in the queue
