Hmmm, it's a nice enough location. The interior is charming. The vaunted covered terrace less so -- but still, it's quite nice enough. On our Sunday dinner visit, we were seated on uncomfortable metal chairs surrounded by fellow Americans -- some of whom were predictably...way too loud. The food was OK to good; the service was spotty from the start. This culminated at dessert with the peach flambee, a dish that sounded good, especially after a marvelous apple tarte flambee we'd had a few days earlier deep in the Picardy countryside. But it was plopped down at out table with no hint liquor -- and certainly no flambee, or any suggestion of that. The dish was, and felt, incomplete. We ate it anyway; the place was hopping busy; it was hot; and we just wanted to get on with a pleasant late evening walk. When l'addition came, and we were asked how it had been, we mentioned the flambee "sans flambee." To her credit, the waitress, after a raised eyebrow, immediately proceeded to take it off the bill. Nice enough. But within a minute, as we prepared to leave, the fellow who'd served it to us came over to explain why there had been no flambee. As best we could discern, he said there was a technical problem in the kitchen. Then the story changed, and he said that if the plate had been flambeed, we've not have liked it, or could not have eaten it. This passive aggressive posturing was hardly a pleasant way to end an evening. There are too many other better options -- even on warn Sundays.More

Charming spot. Quiet dining in a lovely indoor/outdoor setting. Incredible food and drink and dessert. Highly recommend.

Very poor experience from beginning to end. The outdoor seating is odd and it was incredibly loud with noise not coming from the restaurant. We ordered a bottle of rosé which they brought out warm, so to give it time to chill they brought glasses...of what had to have been the worst rosé I've ever had (not at all what we ordered). They were out of half of the appetizers, all of the non-fish options and the entrees were very sub-par. Our server was a young man who didn't seem to know anything about the food or the wine. We were really expecting a lot more from a restaurant on the Michelin Guide.More
