My wife and I were just waking around and stumbled across this place. We got one whiff of the fresh baked goods and couldn't pass it up. We got a couple chocolate croissants that were very good and my wife also got some cookies that...More

I was excited to try Poilane after hearing wonderful things about the breads and cookies. I visited this location, and I selected a package of butter cookies. The cookies were a delicious treat on my train ride that afternoon, but I was disappointed in the...More

We thought this was the original with the chandelier bread, however it wasn't or they didn't have it on display. We purchased some sugar cookies which were enjoyed through the day while touring.

We popped in here to grab some breakfast - got a couple of pain aux chocolats and croissants. Loved them - really buttery, flaky deliciousness! Sadly we went back the next day to repeat our experience and it was shut :( Next time!!

Title says it all. I see the same lady running the shop every morning. She's very courteous and always helpful. Doesn't hurt that the breads are all amazing - both in taste and freshness.

This was very near where we stayed, they make only a few types of bread. We liked it but with kids needed some more traditional French baguettes or croissants on the menu

its not cheap - a whole loaf (which is huge) was about 7 euros. But we typically bought slices (also big). Note - they do not do baguettes here.
