We had the best final dinner here last night. Live music, great wine, and the food was delicious. Well done !!! We had the beef stew, pork, escargot, French onion soup, crème bur-lee for dessert. all made perfect with lots of care and ingredients the...staff was fabulous!More

The staff was so nice to us and the food was well prepared. We stayed right on the square and enjoyed seeing the activity at Les Pipos each night

We came across this place about 4 years ago and wanted to try again to see if it was really as good as I remembered. Yep, it was. We were in Paris a week and had a bunch of meals at some much fancier places...and this was in the top two meals (the other was Restaurant Paul.) We had an VRBO across the street so had dinner one night and wine a apps a couple others. They had live music on the Friday and I believe they do most Fri/Sat. The steak us poivre was the best I've ever had. Their house wine (a Bordeaux) was surprisingly good consider it was really moderately priced. The staff are super nice and welcoming (not true everywhere in the city) and the food beats many more expensive places. It's a hidden little gem and highly recommend.More

Found this place on TripAdvisor. Looking for a casual place for win and lunch. Not fancy, however, the service, food and wine were great. Loved the comment by the bar: Doug you want to study French or would you like a menu in English.

In an area with plenty of restaurant options Les Pipos doesn't immediately stand out but its appearance as a bar that does food is misleading. We chose a tuna steak and boeuf bourginon, both cooked to a high standard. The creme brulee and cheese board...were excellent and the wine reasonably priced. Throw in the friendly waiter and this place is definitely worth checking out.More

Went here whilst on a solo trip to Paris having been with my mum before. Cannot recommend this place enough. Staff are lovely, quick service and the food is just perfection. Really well priced too and the next time I visit Paris, this will be...on my list!More

Les Pipos is in the sort of location where you might expect to be gouged, as a tourist, because it's just around the corner from the Pantheon. In fact, it provides excellent food at reasonable prices. It's hearty brasserie food -- my son had ribs,...I had a delicious chicken, boeuf bourgignon for my daughter and foie gras for my wife -- all at a high standard and with no pretensions. The place is charmingly rundown -- be careful on the steep stairs to the toilet. The staff is friendly; when my daughter admired the collection of banknotes on the wall behind the bar, they presented her with one of them.More

The guide book said it was a restaurant with local charm, but in reality it is unkempt and very charmless unless you find cracking paint and wall paper to be colorful. The night we were there we had chicken in a sauce that went on...mash potatoes as well as being billed as carbonara...The waiter did say we had ordered too much, but the main chicken dishes were inedible. C'est la vie!More

Perfect atmosphere, good service, lovely place and great (also typical) food. Reasonable price. Strongly recommended.
