I write this not so much for the food, which was good, but for the whole experience. It was like going back to Paris in the 20's when the great writers chumed it up in the old cafes. A cool place.

The menu isn't traditional French but a mixture of French and international, even including a burger course. So, it's in between casual and fine dining, too. The food was good, the dessert was amazing. Casual crew. Nice retro Parisian atmosphere. Place is mostly empty before...More

Nice boutique style hotel in 11th district of Paris. Lovely room, friendly staff, excellent location near public transportation and great restaurants. Good value. I would definitely return.

Had lunch here at the weekend. Food was nice and the service was friendly. The venue was dark inside but as we were seated outside this wasn't an issue on this occasion. However, being outside meant we had a fair bit of traffic going past...More

Used to be good but seems to be resting on its laurels. Food pretty mediocre and not cheap. Service patchy to say the best. Still in a great setting but overall not good enough when there are so many other great options nearby.

I had a very average dinner here with a group of 35. Service was overall very friendly, but unfortunately the food was nothing special. It tasted good but lacked the effort to be remembered afterwards. The only thing I actually remember is that the place...More

As it's in a nice location overlooking the canal, we stopped here for a slightly late lunch. We were sitting outside and it took quite some time to get a menu, let alone get served. The food (Dorado and steak) was okay, to be fair,...More

Some dishes were good, other so so. Service was very friendly but not professional at all. They are clearly amateurs, but very friendly amateurs, what I prefer to snobbish parisian waiters.

This is our third visit to this restaurant which we have highly appreciated before. Very nice restaurant, but this time we became disappointed. I ordered côte du veau with mashed potatoes and creme de champignons. The veal was full of fat, at least half of...More

Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point
of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris.
Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and
friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the
bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to
drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days
lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and
concert spaces. Those who are more adventurous may
