We ate here twice during our two weeks in Paris. The first time we ordered the veal scaloppini along with a white house wine. The veal was very tender and nicely prepared. The cafe is small and the hostess only speaks French and Italian however we were able to order without a problem. She was very pleasant and helped us.... More

After reading good reviews on Trip Advisor, my husband and I dined at Scala for our 12th wedding anniversary while in Paris. We chose to order from a 3 course set menu with multiple available options (though other ordering choices were available). We found the food delicious and the price a great value for Paris. However, it was the friendly... More

The food is very good, I tried the filet (very soft and no fat on it) covered with cheese (parmesan) , for me was the best in Paris, the only problem is that they cloae the orders at 2:30PM, if you want to be served, arrive before 2:15 :)

We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a main course salad and it was outstanding. My husband had a pasta dish he really enjoyed. We shared a half liter of wine and the bill was 40euros, which we felt was good value. The service was friendly and efficient. We hope to eat here again on our current... More

Six in our group and their views ranged from very poor, inedible in fact, to pretty good but... We didn't get off to a good start being offered a cramped table for 5 downstairs. Once we'd decided to walk we were offered a better table upstairs in an empty room. It filled up, well nearly, eventually and the atmosphere was... More

For our first evening in town we needed something good close and convenient. We almost got it. Opens at 7.30 so had to amuse the kids for another half hour-excellent remainder bookstore next door. Staff were Italian with Paris attitude - less overtly friendly but fine and funny once you realized. Food was actually very good. Best mozzarella we'd had.... More

We visited this restaurant twice, since it was just across from our hotel and we were impressed by the friendly reception, good service and fresh quality of the food. We particularly liked the bruschetta and rocket salad with parmesan shavings. We ordered one portion of each to share between three people, and were immediately given three place settings. You can... Visited this restaurant twice on our 4 day trip to Paris. Nice place and friendly owners. The food true to the Italian kitchen and you get a great smile if you try your Italian language:):) Can absolutely be recommended.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
